Little bit different add-a-guest question.

Sorry for what feels repetitive here. This is different, though.

So we have a 1-bdrm villa at AKL/Kidani on rented points for my family of 4. A friend of mine who is a WDW local (her husband works for the company) is going to do a photo shoot with my family during the trip. We were wanting to do this during morning early magic hour at Animal Kingdom since we already have portraits at MK & Epcot from years past. Obviously she needs to be seen as a guest in my room to be able to enter the park early with us. Should I have our owner add her for length of stay or just go to Guest Services desk the day before to have her added for the one night? I've added a guest on the fly with a regular hotel booking at other resorts before without issue. Just not sure how it'd work with a DVC reservation on points.

Thanks in advance.

Assuming that you haven't purchased a dining plan, I'd just ask the owner to put her on your reservation. That way she'll have a resort Magic Band to enter the park. At check in, you can remove charging privileges from that guest if you wish. Better to have her on the reservation ahead of time than to try to add her at check in.

I thought private photographers were not allowed to shoot photos of groups in the park? Only at resorts
