Listening

When someone is talking, do you always listen, or sometimes do you just agree? Ever been caught just agreeing?

I caught mike doing this last night while I was talking. Hoping he's not the only one and its not just me people are doing this to.

(Oh, and just so you know, I'm not making this to be all witchy. I laughed when I figured out what he was doing)

I do it sometimes, but only if someone is mad and trying to make a point, I agree so I don't make them madder.

When two people are talking to me I zone out completely. Sometimes I zone out in class and the teacher will call on me and I will say "You are completely right"

Actually, if its important I'll listen, but if not... I'll just go along with it

It happens sometimes, but I try not to do it. I think it's kind of funny when it happens, but not all the time.

Sometimes I do if I have no idea what they're talking about and I don't want to sound stupid.
But thats usually just with cute boys.
Most of the time I'll just say 'I have no idea what you're talking about'.
And that happens quite often cos I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed. :]

with conventions and show nights, so many people are talking to you at once and everybody is experiencing the worst problem ever imaginable. i tend to either agree or zone them out..or even better..just say no.

other times i just listen.

It's a rather rare occasion that I'm not really listening.
Usually when I do just agree, I do it without realizing I did it.
Then when I do, I ask them what they just said. ​

I mostly do it when I can't understand what the other person is saying. I don't have the best hearing.

Yeah, I usually zone out... If I don't understand what they're talking about, I'll just nod and agree lmao.

I usually listen.
I do tend to space out sometimes though.
But, I can never hear what people say because they're mumbling. So I'll smile & agree and then they'll be like 'how did you know i went to france last year? We're not friends.'

When I'm interested I listen, when I'm not interested I don't listen.

I'm horrible at paying attention... My teacher asked me if the Civil War was during the 1900s and I kept nodding yes. I just nod and agree with adults who try and talk to me about something I'm not interested in. Or if it's a friend, I just ignore them..

if someone is giving me specific dierctions or giving advice, i listen. but if they just go on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on, ill tune em out after a while.

but, if my mom asks me to do something, then i just completley tune her out!

I listen and try to converse most of the time. In school, I'll mainly listen.

However, if someone should call me, and I honestly do not want to talk, I just keep saying, "mmhmm."​

I usually listen... and if it's just something little I'll agree, but if it's something I have an opinion on I'll share it.

Except for when it's my little brother.. he feels the need to tell me about his online game or what some athlete did - at the most inopportune times no less... like yesterday I was getting ready for a formal dance and he told me stories while I was pressing my dress.. it was one of those "Yea... oooh.. oh wow.. neat... cool." kind of things when ever he would pause
