Is there a way to download the podcast directly onto the phone without plugging into a computer? I went to listen now, but that didn't work. I'm away from the computer today and am hoping to get the new one when it comes out.
There's no way to download that I know of, but I listen by clicking on the discussion show link from the main podcast page. You can also use the RSS/XML button at the top.
You can go to the iPod>More>Podcasts>The DIS Unplugged> then at the end of the list of current podcasts on your iPhone, it will say "Get More Episodes" in blue. Tap that, and you can download new podcasts.

If you have the iphone and search for RSS Player, the app is $0.99. Once you open it go to search, search by title, and then search dis unplugged. The second one listed is what you need to subscribe to. Then go back to favorites and the podcast will be there.
This program isnt the best I will be honest, it tends to be a little bit buggy and you sometimes have to restart the app but it will pick up where it left off, but it does allow you to listen in 3g when you are away from wifi. I hope that works for you.
All good advice, but a fuss free way to listen to it is to go to iTunes on your phone, then instead of clicking on 'download', click on the podcasts title/date and it will stream in QuickTime, even without being connected to a wireless connection

This has already been said but I just did this for the first time so I wanted to pass my experience along. Tonight on the way home, I wasn't near any Wifi in order to download the show but I took a chance and used Safari to go to the Dis site and then the DIS home area. I then clicked on the current discussion show and it played without pause or skips as streaming audio.
