We haven't done this in a while, so here goes!

Mine are listed in no particular order:

She Sells Santuary - The Cult

I Will Follow - U2

Tunnel of Love - Bruce Springsteen

Are You Gonna Go My Way - Lenny Kravitz

I Robot - The Alan Parsons Project

could I possibly narrow it down?

let me try, anyhow. in no particular order:

"NY State of Mind" -- Billy Joel

"Satisfaction" -the Rolling Stones

"A Day in the Life" -- the Beatles

"42nd Street" from the Broadway show of the same name (yeah, I know, it was a movie first)

"American Pie" -- Don McLean

the list is subject to change on whim.

The Things we do for Love - 10cc

Photograph - Def Leppard

Scenes from an Italian Restaurant - Billy Joel

Good Riddance (Time of your life) - Green Day

I have a lot of favorites, too many to list, but those are the first to come to mind. :)

New York State of Mind - Billy Joel
Land of Hopes and Dreams - Bruce Springsteen
Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting - Elton John
The River - Bruce Springsteen

We've Got Tonight - Bob Seger

Against The Wind - Bob Seger

Fire Lake - Bob Seger

I guess it is pretty obvious that I loooove Bob Seger!:p

Edited to correct the artist's name

It's so hard to narrow it down to five, but here goes:

1. Red, Red Wine (UB40)
2. Come Away With Me (Norah Jones)
3. Shameless (Garth Brooks)
4. Magnificent Obsession (Steven Curtis Chapman)
5. Anything sung by Bing Crosby (Have I mentioned that I love, Love, LOVE Bing Crosby? LOL  )

Sherry

Oooh. Tough one.

1) Unforgiven - Metallica (always a comfort song for me. In fact, I plan on blasting it when I am in labor)

2) Don't You Cry Tonight - G-n-R (reminds me of my high school life)

3) Cecelia - Simon and Garfunkle (got me through a rough patch in my life)

4) Pretty Woman - Roy Orbison (my daddy's fave, I always think of him)

5) It's Your Love - Tim McGraw and Faith Hill (wedding song)

"leader of the Band"...uh...that's Dan Fogelberg.

Thanks for the correction but I really have only heard the guy's name a few times, I like the song. There are plenty of songs that I like but don't know the artist.

Witchi-Tai-To by Brewer and Shipley

Southern Cross by Crosby, Stills and Nash

Brilliant Disguise by Bruce Springsteen

I'll be pretty bad at answering this. My #1 is definite. But there are so many that could fill the 2 through 5 spots that I could change my mind in 20 minutes about them. So as of right now:

1) Let It Be - The Beatles

2) Hey Jude - The Beatles

3) Golden Slumbers-Carry That Weight-The End - The Beatles

4) Fire and Rain - James Taylor

5) Funeral for a Friend - Elton John

Ave Maria...Schubert

Blue Eyes...Elton John

Summer Breeze...I forget! LOL! That's more the thoughts that go with the song as opposed to the song itself. ;) :faint:

Another Old Lange Syne...geez, did I butcher that spelling. LOL!

Anything classical with a romantic mood!! :faint: again!! ;)

Too many to mention. :teeth:

Come On Eileen (Dexy's Midnight Runners)
Veronica (Elvis Costello)
Rainbow Connection (Kermit the Frog)
David Duchovny Why don't You Love Me(Bree Sharp)
Let us Pray (Steven Curtis Chapman)

Of course now that i have typed these--I have aready thought of several others that I should include--but can't bring myself to replace any of these!!

1 "Jump" Van Halen
2 "Maggie May" Rod Stewart
3 "Werewolves of London" Warren Zevon
4 "Funeral for a Friend" Elton John Actually almost ANYthing by Elton John!
5 "Sweet Emotion" Aerosmith

Justing picking 5 was REAL tough!:D
