I think you got it. Dang, that's quite a list. What is "Dole Whip" on item# 61?

I believe there are no more arcades on the ships. And the tuxedo rental company went out of business.

Dole Whip is a non-dairy frozen soft-serve desert, as found at Disney World. On the ships it's available with rum :)

Do you have princess high tea on there? You have room service soft drinks on there 2x 31 and 39.

Thank you for this incredibly comprehensive list. Well, I thank you but my wallet is in shock!

Are they still offering the Art and Wine experience where you draw the BATB rose?

On the ships, it is made with real pineapple and not the Dole mix used in the parks and available on Amazon. It is a Dole Whip only by name... but it does come with rum !

I wish they wouldn't call it Dole Whip, then. Very misleading and potentially quite disappointing. I'm glad I have you expert resources! Nothing like some FAKE pineapple/non dairy dessert concoction! But I MIGHT try the real pineapple mixed with rum for a nominal fee...you know...for information and comparison purposes. Always in the interest of science. :thumbsup2

Why "misleading"?
When I hear "Dole Whip" it is a very specific thing that comes to mind, the fake pineapple non-dairy concoctions from Aloha Isle in MK and now also popping up in other locations like pineapple lanai at the Poly. The stuff on the ships is different. I'm sure it's delicious, it's just not what my family would expect from "Dole Whip." Call it pineapple puree maybe?

But remember...
Those are all the things you CAN spend money on.

Our first cruise:
DH had a glass of wine with dinner every night, a cocktail at sailaway and a cocktail on Castayway Cay while sitting with napping child.
We did port excursions to the beach. (Next time did them on our own.)
We bought each child a (small) stuffed animal and a t-shirt.
We paid a few hours of nursery for our 3 year old to nap.
We did not pay extra for Palo or Remy.

If we want soda, we go up to deck 9.
We did buy a popcorn bucket for cruise #2, for the movies. Did NOT buy candy.
The kids did not get snacks you had to pay extra for.

And we had a great time!

Just because you CAN spend the money, doesn't mean that you have to!

(Although I would do something in the ports, but a taxi to the beach may meet your needs. Our family loves beach days.)

I see you are a fan, like us. Our smile disappeared when we ordered one on Magic and saw the bartender put juice and pineapple in a blender. It is basically a pineapple slushy, made with fresh fruit. Disappointing and not very good !

LOL. 63 items on your list. 11 that were part of our cruise spending, so 52 that were not!

I'm a big spender compared to my mom. Her spending was limited to traditional tips, a glass of wine with dinner, and Bingo.

Gratuities at Palo/Remy
Smoothies at Frozone Treats
Concierge Gratuities
Charges for missing stateroom items (pillow, laundry bag, etc)
Beer mug
Purchases from stores on CC
Travel Insurance (either from DCL or otherwise)

Great additions! Thanks so far to everyone, keep 'em coming!! I'll summarize tomorrow after everyone had a chance at this, and post the revised list.

I grinned about the "charges for missing stateroom items...."

What's so special about the laundry bag that it goes 'missing'?

If I can remember it is a white cotton bag with the word "Laundry" on it. I don't think it is that special and not even that large. Not sure why people feel the need to swipe it.
