I just struck out with EWP too...

I had a reservation for POR October 16 - 25 @ $144 per night. I never got a postcard.

Nothing... she tried splitting the reservation and also looking at all the other moderates. Nothing. I asked about even a few nights? She said there was nothing.

Well, I knew when I made the reservation that I had to accept that I could be paying $144 but it's never happened to me before. Not in four years of being an AP Holder. I have to admit that I am a bit bummed that some people are staying at AKL for less than I am paying at POR but hey... I'll be in Disneyworld. It could be worse.

That rate you quoted is during Regular season, 4/18-8/7 and it is for a campsite with only water and electric. Personally, I like to use my toilet and shower when I camp so I like to connect to sewer.

I believe this thread was referring to the recently released AP rates for the fall season not summer. Since Christmas time is not during regular season but on Holiday rate, which for December 20 the rate is $86 for a preferred campsite. When you add $5 pet fee and taxes, the rate is over $100. This is considerably higher than value resorts at $49 and Moderates at $79.

So if you still consider over $100/night for a campsite to be "very cheap" well . . . . . Everybody's got an opinion but not everyone has to agree with it.

I agree!! I was really counting on my annual early December trip to the Fort, and even though my partial hookup site would have been $40 for early December, I still decided to forgo the camping and chose Pop Century for $49 a nite. I've paid as little as $22 for my partial hookup site and feel that Disney is wrong in not discounting the campsites, except for the "Snowbirds".

Someday I hope to spend a couple months at the Fort during the Winter Settlers rate, but that won't be for many years!!

NO discounts at any epcot resort (BC/YC/BW) for the BAT rate, then tried seeing what an AP discount would do, and none as well!

Yes this thread is about fall rates. October is regular season and not value like it used to be. October is the Fall season, right? I don't believe I said anything about summer rates. You said you were going October and Christmas so that means one falls in regular season and one falls in Holiday. I believe the values are going for $69 in regular season with the AP rate so a campsite, even at $62 for the electric and water, without a discount is cheaper. That is all I was commenting on. I guess you didn't realize that October is now considered regular season.

Nothing available for the poly arriving 11/2-11/5 using the BAT code. The cm said there was nothing available at all during that time. Maybe because it's "Jersey Week!"

1st - YC Concierge - Nope - The ENTIRE concierge floor is already booked prior to any discounts!

2nd - Any nights at all during this time for YC - 1 night only non-concierge - $265/nt. water view

3rd - ANY Epcot Resort for entire stay - Nope!

BAT code not available for POP for nites of 11/12-11/16/04. I asked the ressie rep to check each nite separately, but no luck. Only ASMu, ASSports or CSR available for those nites, according to him.

Just a note - I asked the customer service rep where he was located and he said "Utah". He said hurricanes are not a problem for them there! I also called twice this AM and got the same guy both times - sure hope he didn't recognize me the 2nd time!

10/18-10/25 No AP rates available at ANY moderate or deluxe. My TA from DU was looking and looking for anything from standard rooms to concierge to suites. NADA! I am sooooooo depressed that I will be paying rack rate for WL. I just don't understand why there's NOTHING available!

My dates are 10-31-04 to 11-8-04

Staying at CBR

Yesterday I got EWP for 10-31 to 11-4
I have to "check out and back in" on 11-5 to 11-8

It was 79.00 + tax for the first 5 nights. Nothing on the last three.

Today, I tried BAT for the last 3 nights and still nothing! Tried again for the EWP (hoping someone cancelled) and NOTHING.

Also, tried the postcard thingy a few weeks back and CBR wasn't available.

Why do they give discounts but don't offer any rooms to apply them too? Are they teasing us or what?


At least I got 5 nights cheaper.

Cm yesterday was wonderful, today not so great.

Cm told me that we have to go to the desk in the am on the 5th and just recheck back in. Most likely you don't have to switch rooms, but she couldn't make any promises. I would say you have a 99 percent chance of not having to switch.

AKL no AP or BAT discounts nov.28-dec 4 on std or std pool room
they did offer deluxe pool but it was $2700 for the 6 nts, way
out of our price range.

I did get a passholder rate for these exact dates, so they are there, but perhaps there were a very limited number of rooms. But, for people looking for these rates, perhaps there will be cancellations, and availability will be there.
