Hello. I am a Disney newbie, planning our first trip in August. My nine year old is actually recieveing a Make a Wish and this was her wish! I was reading the thread about how to get the Disney characters to interact with you, and love the tip about having pics of the characters in an autograph book for them to sign.My daughter is quite shy so I was hoping this might help some interaction. Is there a list of characters anywhere of who is actually in the parks. It seems like there are so many and I don't want to miss anyone! Thanks so much!

Unfortunately, it sometimes varies day to day as to which characters you'll actually get to meet. You can always plan for the regulars... Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, the princesses, Pooh, Tigger, Piglet... and then hope you get lucky with some of the other ones. I've also seen Peter Pan, Wendy, Captain Jack Sparrow (though I don't think he does autographs except at P&PP), Pinochio and Gepetto, Jiminy Cricket (only saw him once!). There are lots more that can show up, but they don't always.

Here is the weekly schedule for the entertainment, including the Character meet & greet places and times.

Click on the colored park tabs at the top of the screen.

You can check back just before you go for the current info.:)

BTW, :welcome: and I hope your family has a wonderful time!pixiedust:

I made a custom autograph book using clipart and the kids got quite a lot of attention from the characters. Here are some sites:

and a great link from the Creative DISign board:

The book was very simple to make....I saved the clipart to my computer, and then inserted into a Word document. I put 2 images in per 8x10 page, one at the middle and one at the bottom, printed, cut in half and organized in alpha order by character. I then took the whole shebang to Kinkos to have bound and they added a back and clear front for about $5 adn the book was approximately 5X7. It came out very finished looking, and like I said, the characters really interacted w/the kids.

Hope your family has a wonderful trip!
