List 5 positive things about yourself

Okay, I'll try . . .

1) People think I'm funny (in a good way!)

2) My kids friends like to hang out here so I think that is a good reflection on me too.

3) I've heard I have a nice smile.

Gee this is really hard. Might have to get back to ya on the last two. Hmmmmm.

4) I can plan us a really great WDW vacation and save us a lot of money at the same time. (Other people may think I'm weird but I think this is a good thing!) I told my husband recently my idea of a fun day is to spend 6 hrs. on the internet if I can end up saving $20 on a car rental.

5) I've always been a really good typist and I'm good at spelling.

6. I'm a good cook too!

7. I would rather be happy than right.

8. WHY is my favorite question (love to broaden my perspective!)

9. I've learned it's easier to love than to hold grudges.

Oh, Dan- can some of that talent with languages be contagious? I LOVE languages and can read 2 of them- I just can't speak any of them at all.

And to those ladies who has those great gams- (that's slang for legs isn't it?) can those rub off on me too? My legs have always been lumpy-and I have a fresh set of hairs 30 minutes after I shave! Blech!

6. I have several creative bones in my body- I love to draw and would love to paint someday.
7. I can tie a knot a cherry stem with my tongue
8. I can play the flute and the piano
9. I taught my ds how to read- WOW how amazing to see them take off with reading!!
10. I was very disciplined and have avoided ALL chocolates and sweets this Easter- I ate 4 giant strawberries for dessert and consider this a huge positive for me!!

Keep 'em coming! I think the positive things make me look harder to find my own! Great thread Dan!

And Glo, how could anyone find you annoying? I wish more of my friends were as annoying as you are!

Hi everybody! Great thread! This will be my only post for the day. I let too much slide this weekend and can't be at this all day. Here goes!

1. I am very open-minded.

2. I am a great cook.

3. I am fun to be with, and make it my business to make others
happy, even at my own expense.

4. I value integrity, and live to set the example.

5. I can fix just about anything.

The best thing about me is that I do not judge. I believe in the goodness of people, ALL people. I will find goodness in everything and everyone I see. That is my responsibility as a human being, and one I never shirk.

I do need to take leave of my DIS family, for I am off to the far recesses of my dwelling to launder the attire of my immediate family. Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I'll try to be more talkative tomorrow.

1. I'm a good actress.
2. I'm a good singer.
3. I'm the Mom my Mom never was!
4. I'm a good secretary (and a good speller) and have been for over 30 years.
5. I look good for being 50!

It was very uplifting to do that and to read all of the previous posters.

You were right in that other thread about having a hard time coming up with 5 positive things about myself. I could list hundreds of negative things but 5 positive things will be a stretch.

1. I think I am a good Mom to DS
2. I am really good at math
3. I love to learn
4. I think I have a decent sense of humor
5. I am smart enough to know that I cannot lose weight without the support I get here

1. I'm a pretty good singer

Okay, here it goes:

1) I always sing to the radio--much to the dismay my musically gifted husband. I cannot carry a tune at all!

2) I can write really well.

3) I am a super-great mom.

4) I am a wonderful friend to have.

5) I met one of my sister's co-workers on Friday and he told her that I am "very attractive." I am Native American and I do have those exotic features that some guys really go for!

Oh and I will add one more:

6) My kids love me! All 110 of them! I work at a before and after school program and the kids there love me. My teen calls me Snow White because all of the little creatures love me! Whenever we are out and we see one (or more) of the kids in my program they are always so excited to see me and give me hugs and such. My teen finds it very amusing
