Lisa's Wish Journal - Now we have gone Dopey.

That is SO cool that you got a work-funded WDW trip!:woohoo::yay::cheer2: It's funny because one of my best friends lives in Orlando and he never goes near the parks. :confused3 I always tell him he's wasting his citizenship! ;)

Lisa,

I think you'll enjoy Music. Its a very pretty resort, it seems more lushly landscaped than the other values. I know you'll have fun!

I swear I posted earlier and that whole post is just gone, maybe I was responding to you on my journal. :confused3

:rotfl2::lmao::rotfl: I really feel sorry for those who live in the area but don't enjoy the perks. :confused3

Had the same thing happen to me this morning. My post suddenly disappeared and I couldn't get it back. Had to start over........

I know I will love Music. I don't know why I was even thinking POP, other than it was $2 cheaper (total) than Music. Sometimes I think I go too far with my trying to save a couple dollars.

Today goals were:
laundry - done
shopping - done
DD's room - 1/3 done
WII - :sad2: couldn't get to the tv and now DD is asleep in the Family room and I am leaving her there.

I feel like this:badpc: tonight. It is driving me nuts. So short post tonight.
I hope everyone has a great day tomorrow.

Woohoo!!!!:woohoo: You're booked for Disney! I hope you'll come back and do an AMSU resort report and let us know how you liked the resort. :thumbsup2

Hope you have a wonderful day!

Thanks Tracy, I was like that too. yay, I'm booked  yay, I'm booked:banana: but I couldn't be too excited 'cause the kids don't know I'm going. So the bananas will have to dance for me.:banana::banana: and a few of the others guys want to join in. :cool1::woohoo::yay::cool1::woohoo::yay: and even these :dance3:

Yesterday I got DD to do the WII with me, but she only last for 10 minutes. She was in her "I can't do this" mode. :confused3 She loves the WII, but last night.......

I did 54 minutes last night and even tried a couple new things.

I'll do the Disney celebration dance with you too, Lisa!!!:cool1::banana::woohoo::yay::dance3: :cheer2:

Great job on getting some Wii time in!:cheer2:

Have a wonderful day!

Thanks Tracy
Yesterday was a pretty good day all around until last night. DH came home with DS from soccer and was in a bad mood. (happening more and more) I know it is work and nothing about me, but it turns around to be that way. I let it slide to a point, but I keep reminding myself that he wanted this position. He wants out of it now, but he does such a good job, that he is kind of stuck and management won't let him move to another position. I really felt bad for him last night though as he worked several hours Saturday and Sunday at home and then obviously had a rotten day at work. He was better this morning, but as I left he was reading something for work instead of getting in the shower. :sad2: He has a bowling weekend scheduled for next weekend and he is taking Friday off, so hopefully that will help some.

Okay, thanks for listening to that. No exercise last night as Monday is our real busy day. (I could have used some though just to releave some of the stress) and food wasn't the greatest. I did spend some quiet one on one with DD doing her homework. I can't wait until I can get back to my walking schedule. I am going to try a modified one in a couple weeks after the time change. I am hoping it will be a bit warmer later. Ever since I got so cold in January going out in the cold now......I just can't do it. :confused3

Okay, weird post, so I'll end on a happy note. :yay: I'm going to Disney in 55 days. :yay:

Boy Lisa, I can relate to this thing with your dh. My husband truth be known would love to go back to what he used to do years ago, once he got his promotion, his salary increased but so did his stress level and his dislike of his job at times is tough to live with. But he's more or less stuck now and it sort of comes and goes (the bad attitude). I am betting your dh's bowling weekend will help, I have Dan now plan something with his guy friends at least every other week plus a guys camping trip in the summer and it helps.

Good job doing Wii for that long, trying new things is always helpful both to maximize your results and keep you from getting bored!:thumbsup2

Sending a gentle  your way. My DH can get like that about work sometimes too. I hope your DH's time off on Friday and his bowling time next weekend helps. :goodvibes

Disney in 54 days!!!!:banana::cool1::woohoo::yay::dance3: :cheer2:

Thanks Amy and Tracy. Thanks for understanding. Yes, the moods come and go, but lately have been here more than not. We'll work through it.

I was sick today and had to stay home. Actually started yesterday. I have been so careful and then yesterday I walked to the visitors center to purchase a postcard. Helping someone's daughter with a school project where they get people to send in postcards from all over. No big deal, yet the wind was really going and the pollen is very high right now. Despite my precautions I ended up with a sinus migrane and then TOM on top of that.:faint: I tried everything last night, I took medicine, I ate light, I did the WII (22 minutes), took a shower. Nothing worked. I ended up in bed early and poor DD had to fend for herself. The boys were at the fire station. But DD was so good. She finished her homework and got her PJs herself and got in bed with me. She even turned off the tv before she had too. I was so proud of her. She didn't get a bath, but oh, well, not the first time. I tried to get up this morning, but it wasn't happening. Then I tried to get up about 8:00, but I just called in again and told them it wasn't happening today. I slept all day, I mean from 8:00-2:40. Then I stayed in bed most of the afternoon and evening. DD came and watched tv in my room and did her homework. She was really good again this evening. DS also, did things I asked him to do. Both kids really understand when I get this way now. I hope neither of them ever have to deal with this. Good thing is, I am feeling better now. :goodvibes

Needless to say I didn't even attempt any exercise today, but hey, food was great. :thumbsup2 Given that I hardly ate anything. :rolleyes1

Lisa, I am so sorry you got sick. Just rest up, you won't do yourself any favors if you overdo too soon!

Your dd sounds like such a sweetheart. Just like her mama!:goodvibes

Thanks Amy and Tracy
I feel so much better today. I'm :yay::banana::woohoo: just because my head doesn't hurt any more. :goodvibes

Yesterday was very busy at work and then yesterday evening also. Had to go in to work this morning (my day off, but only for a couple hours) I have been to the store and am now Dising and waiting for a guy to come to give an estimate for pressure washing the house.

I think Spring is here. I say think cause I don't believe planting anything before Easter. There is always that chance of one last cold spell. But, it is very nice out today and the pear trees are blooming. But the thought of pollen and headaches is keeping me in at the computer where I belong.

DH had a good night at bowling last night, so he was in a much better mood. Hopefully it will last through the weekend. Unless something happens today and he has to work again. I hope not.

No exercise again last night. I was just too tired. And yes Amy as you said, I do have to be careful not to do too much to soon after one and it will come right back. :sad2: But I counted back on the calendar and I haven't had one like this for several weeks. I'm doing something right. :goodvibes

Have a great day and I'll try to be back later tonight. :thumbsup2

I'm so glad to hear that you're feeling better, Lisa!

Glad to hear that your DH had a good time at bowling last night. :thumbsup2

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Lisa, I am so glad you are feeling better. Its always such a relief when your head stops hurting! I am glad your dh had fun bowling, hopefully that fun night out gave him some time to just decompress.

Around here, I won't plan before Mother's Day and even that is pushing it! I hope spring really is here for you and me!

Good luck with the pressure wash, we did that once and it made such a huge difference. Maybe I"ll rent one for the inside of my house!:rotfl:

Yep, I'm thinking maybe, just maybe Spring is Here. :flower3: I say this because I saw a honey bee yesterday. :goodvibes For the past three years there has been one honey bee in my front flower beds. A couple of bushes have started blooming and he was buzzing around yesterday.

Gonna see what we can get done around here today. I'm just happy that it is warm outside (64 right now) so the heat isn't running. :woohoo:

As soon as DD is done with lunch, I am taking over the family room for some WII fun. Haven't done it since Tuesday and I am ready to go.

Thanks Tracy and Amy

Yes, Tracy DH is in a much better mood...at least for now. He is spending the afternoon at the soccer field with DS (who is playing two games and refeeing his first one) and then he gets to clean up his camper for next weekend. DH decided to take the whole weekend off and take his camper down instead of driving 3 hours each day for his bowling weekend. I think it will do him some good.

Amy, the pressure washer guy never showed up.:sad2::confused3 I was a little miffed cause I waited around all afternoon and had some errands I could have taken care of. DH says "Oh well, he did have to work last night.":confused3 and he is the one who made the appt and I'm the one who lost the afternoon. Well, not totally, I did DIS quite a bit, but we won't tell DH that.:rotfl: But I do think the house will look better once it is clean. We have light siding so the dirt really shows.

This afternoon was rather successful. I was in a funk earlier, but I got busy and cleaned out the cabinets in the laundry room. Gosh I have a lot of detergent. Swept the part of the garage where I park. Did/doing some laundry. Did 61 minutes on the WII. Started some seedlings. Washed Dishes. and earned some points on various sites.

Happy to report, I am out of my funk. Staying inside cause it is so windy and the pollen is flying. :headache: I can't wait to get out and clean out the flower beds.

I'm glad that you're feeling better, Lisa. :goodvibes

Great job on the Wii!:cheer2:

Did you see Simple has paid clicks again and Paypal cashouts at $1.00?

Hope you have a nice Sunday!

Glad you are feeling better!

I can relate to DH's work woes, it's tough to separate work and home emotions. I hope he is able to snap out of it and focus on the good instead of the stress. :wizard:

Sounds like I am not the only one whose life revolves around soccer lately! As much as I enjoy watching these tournaments, I am looking forward to a tourney-free weekend next weekend! :rolleyes1

This is too funny. I posted the same thing on your thread!:rotfl:

Thanks Amy, can't wait to hear how DD did in her tournament this weekend. :cheer2:

I am hoping that I finally have my home cpu fixed. I worked on it some Saturday and DH finally worked on it yesterday. The culprit? A coupon toolbar I tried to download. It never loaded properly and came up as a virus!?!:scared1: Finally got it off and things were working much better last night. It was just so late that by the time I got through clearing out emails, I didn't have time to DIS.

Did the WII for 50 minutes yesterday, plus cleaned the studio. Plenty of walking there. Back and forth, back and forth pushing the swiffer across the floor.

We had a nice weekend, but I was stuck inside due to the wind. Got a lot done inside, which was good. I did walk to the post office this morning.
It's still windy but not as bad.
