Liquor at the hotel shops?

These are suitable for checked luggage...

I don't have enough posts to post a link, but check out rumrunner.com

I was thinking of buying some wine in Germany to take back to the hotel, I think you can buy it by the bottle there. Anyone done this before?

You can buy wine by the bottle there. They won't ship the bottle to your room though. I believe they would take it to the front of the park, but I'm not completely sure. We ended up just buying it when we were leaving and carrying it out with us. Maybe someone else can confirm the current policy.

When I found out a glass of wine at the resort was as much as an entire bottle at home:lmao: it didn't take long to decide something had to give. Since cocktails are included on the DDE, we go that route with our meal and maybe a frozen pina colada at MGMs back lot bar for a treat. Other than that, I can wait until I get home.

Disney prices for drinks are still less than Canadian prices. ;) We are planning to go to one of those wonderful (U.S. only- not allowed in Canada:sad1: ) 24 hour stores once we cross the border and stock up there. :cool1: Then we will wrap up our purchases in newspaper with our clothes. Trust me- it works. Last summer we brought back some of Uncle Kanoot's "juice" from across Canada, 7 1/2 hours!! and all 5 bottles arrived safely. We'll fly out of Syracuse with a lay-over, and then straight to Orlando. I'm not worried about it at all :beach:
