HI just reading about tickets for lion king show, been to dlp 3 times and when it was the beauty and beast show ,or tarzan we just queued up before the show ,i didn,t relise you got tickets for the lion king.we really wanted to catch this show this time ,so whens best to go for tickets and where do you get them thanks :cheer2: (7weeks and counting)

You queue for the tickets by the entrance to the Star Tours ride. The times of the shows and what time they are giving out tickets will be in the park map. When we went they were giving them out at 11am for the 12pm and early afternoon performances and again later on in the afternoon for the later shows. People started queuing at about 10.15am for this.

If you really don't want to spend time queuing you could always combine watching the show with a snack in the Hyperion and hopefully get a table with a good view of the show. :)

Definitely worth queuing to get the tickets and then arrive early for the show so you can bag a front row seat :goodvibes :thumbsup2

When we were there, shows were offered in English or French. Make sure to check the schedule.

lol I think I will give this a miss this time, don't think I want to wait 45 minutes just to get a ticket. it seems very time consuming to see this show.
maybe on our next trip(hopeing for a week)

Thanks for the advice, this is the best DLP info site that ive found ,nice to know there are so many disney crazy people out there.

I would like to catch this show but dont really want to queue for 45 mins befre hand to get a ticket, I may wonder by 15 mins before showtime and hope we get lucky.

If you are not keen on queuing go to Cafe Hyperion for an early lunch and bag a good seat to watch the show :)

We were there last June & saw the show 3 times all from Cafe hyperion, good view.

Couldn't see the point in queuing for tickets.

I didn't mind hanging around for the tickets the first time but this year we're going to coincide it with a snack and watch it from the cafe.

I queued for tickets for 15 mins from 10.45 - 11am on Wednesday, it was all very fast once they started handing out tickets. We saw the 12pm show and arrived at 11.50, we were right at one side but still a great view!
