Lion King at DLP

Next summer we're planning on going to Europe and since we'll be so close, I really want to hop over to DLP. I just read a post that mentioned a Lion King show there. Is there one? Is it anything like the Broadway one? We saw it in London and it's coming to my home town this winter and I want to take my girls. However, if it's the same one in DLP, I could just wait and take them to that one. I'm guessing it's a completely different show, but I want to know for sure.

Hiya

There is a Lion King show in Discoveryland and people on here say it's really good. I don't know if it's the same as the stage show, you could always have a search for "lion king disneyland paris" on youtube and see if it looks the same.

It must be similar with the songs/lion theme and all but if time is short then you may want to focus more on characters, other shows and rides. Then you have the show in your home town to look forward to another time.

It's not the same show but still looks amazing!

They have the stage show (same as london) on in the centre of Paris, but it may be in french.

I saw the show in london last eyar and it was wonderful!! I'm lloking forward to seeing the DLRP one in two weeks! I'll let you know the difference when I get back if you like!

its condensed into about half hour...I don't think it is anything like the broadway one....but still brill...I love it....
If you go on to youtube there is lots of vids on it you could have a look at! Someone called tinkerbellinparis has a few bits and pieces (2008 being slightly better quality )

Ok, I want to see them both!

I just loved the London show and got very excited when I saw it was coming to town. My DDs were jealous that DH and I saw it. They're going to love it. And I'm sure we'll love the one at DLP, too! I sure hope that works out next year!

It's not the same but it was still really good. We stood in the queue for half an hour before it opened and was well worth it. I saw the stage show in London many years ago and that was absolutely amazing! Sent shivers down my spine (in a good way) at the beginning.
