linking tickets

i have a florida resident linked to my MDE. she got a 3 day resident pass and recently received a letter of confirmation. the rep said she can use this as a way to link the ticket to the MDE. however when i put in her reservation number that is in the confirmation letter it comes up that the id number must be 10 digits. her number is 8 digits. there are no other numbers in the letter.

i figured i would ask here first before calling because i seem to get more correct advice here then with disney
