Linking Reservations

Anyone know if linking of separate, consecutive date reservations is possible? Later this month, I have a VWL 1br reserved for Sun-Thu via AP discount and a VWL 1br for Thu-Sat as DVC points.
No DVC rooms available when I wanted to add the first 4 days of the week recently and waitlist is HIGHLY unlikely this late.
:sad1:

Can they somehow link or note on these reservations that they are consecutive? I'd really like to be able to stay in the same room the whole time. I thought part of the recent reservation system upgrade was to make this type of issue a seamless matter.

Any recommendations from others with this scenario in the past?

:confused3

Sorry, no. These are two different systems so they cannot link the two reservations. If you made a cash reservation through MS and a points reservation through MS, it would be able to be linked as long as both room categories were identical.

The best you can do is note the other reservation on each and when you check in see if you are blocked into the same room for the entire time. Also, make sure each reservation is booked with the exact same names in the exact same order.

This is good advice. Even if you don't have to move rooms, you will probably have to check out and check back in on the transition day.

If you remind the front desk about this at check-in, I'm sure they'll try to work with you as best as possible. Good luck! :)
