I got an e-mail from Disney saying that I could get FP for our October trip. But when I tried to do so, I couldn't get to October. Call to Disney discovered that our reservation wasn't linked. I had trouble finding reservation # because no letter was mailed, but was somewhere in my e-mail.
On our prior trips, I believed Member Services linked the reservation. Am I wrong?

I have always had to enter my reservation # into MDE in order to make FP,ADR, etc

If you log on to your the member site, check My Vacations, the reservation number will be there. As CMNJ indicated, I also have always had to enter that info.

I have had things link automatically in the past but not for a couple of years and even then it didn't do it all the time. I think it was something in the system vs anything that MS ever did.

As mentioned, just log into your account on the DVC member website and you can get the reservation number and then go to MDE and link the reservation.
