Has anyone linked older, i.e., bought in 2010, non-expiring tickets bought from Undercover Tourist to their magic bands? There is no numbers under the bar code so I am at lost as to how to link them. Would I call DVC member services to help me or someone else?

Many thanks,
Kate

Do you have a smartphone (iPhone or Android) with the MDX app loaded? You can scan the bar code and try to link the tickets that way.

If trying to link via the MDX website, there is a link below the samples that says 'Did you buy your ticket before 2010 or don't see an ID number on your ticket? Add it Here'. This will give you options for older tickets.

I have an older non expiring that. Is a park hopper + waterparks fun and more???I have 5 park hopper days, but 7 water park days so, how would that work with the magic bands?:confused3

Michael,
I have another question ,I had linked 2 sets of no exp 10 day park hoppers.1 set that had 1 day of park hopping with 10 days of water parks and more fun.The other set had 8 days of no exp park hopping left on them. For weeks they both showed up in MDE but tonight when looking at our trip which is only 11 days out the older tickets with water parks and more disapeared. Any clue why that is?:confused3

Yes, the tickets are park hopper + water parks... I will not have time to attempt the linking until later this week. I will post again as I find out more. Hopefully others will join in. I do not have a smart phone so I cannot try that option. I looked at the MDX website but do not see any tickets that looked like my tickets. I may have to break down and call someone.

Sorry, I don't know. We are locals with APs, so I've never had to deal with MYW tickets.

Sooo I just downloaded MYE app to my phone and both sets of tickets are sitting there but when i looked on my computer still only 1 set..What gives, do i really need to call them to find out?:confused3

I have some older ones too - two that were never used ( 10 day with park hopper and water parks) and two that we used 5 days but none of the water park days. But I just got APs a couple of weeks ago, so I won't be attempting to load those old tickets for a long time. Hopefully all of the kinks will be out of the system by then! Good luck!

I linked our old non expiring tickets and they linked fine but now I'm wondering if they are correct. We have 4 park days left and have all 10 days for the wp&m. One the DME site it just says I have 4 park days left. Nothing about the 10 wp&m tickets. Does your tickets state how many days are left for the wp&m portion of the tickets?

Just spoke to someone from disney who got me in touch with a CM from "tickets".2 things.
!- There is a glitz in the system and that's why my second set doesn't show on DME.
2-The system is set-up so only the entitlements to theme parks and not the water & fun are entitlements are listed.
I hope that helps you.

Yes that does help! Thanks so much for the info!

Just curious -- if they aren't listed, are they still valid ? We have a pair of MYW+PHNX 10 days, half used, and are planning to use them up this trip. I'd like to link them, but not if the other perks aren't valid.

Yes, you can do it. I linked mine two weeks ago. On the page with the pictures of the paper tickets, there is a link on the page, I think it was below the pictures of the tickets, that says something to the effect of "Tickets prior to 2010." If you click on that, it will open a new page with pictures of older tickets, and allows you to enter the identifying numbers and letters on the back of your ticket. It took me awhile to find the link (I was actually on hold with DVC for over a half hour when I found it LOL), but it's there and it works.

Yes they are still valid when i talked to the CM he told me exactly how many entitlements were left on my water parks and more fun were left.

I have several eras of old non expiring MYWs with varying amounts of leftover water parks and theme park entitlements left on them. When MDE is working correctly it shows the total of the theme parks and water parks left, but doesn't discriminate between them (An old 2007 with only 3 water parks left shows 3 "days remaining", and new 2010 ones with 2 theme parks and 5 water parks show "7 days remaining". But on any particular day a random group of the tickets seem to lose connection to the server, and the amount of days or who the ticket is linked to may disappear for awhile, only to reappear a day of two later (correctly). Oh well.

Where do you see this on MDE? I have gone into the tickets and passes section and it just shows the tickets, who they are linked to and that they are non transferable. I try clicking on more stuff but nothing happens.

On the first page after clicking on "link tickets," the page where you enter your reservation number, there is a link that says, "Did you buy your tickets before 2010 or don't see it here? Add it here." When you click on "Add it here" a page with old tickets will come up.

After several attempts to link my two older UT tickets on My Disney Experience with my PC...I tried to enter the numbers and dates... However, I was having a problem with the number 0 and letter O ... I decided that scanning would know the difference LOL .... My reservation were under my husbands name...SO.. I linked his first( on his My Disney Experience account) by scanning on the smartphone...It worked...I was then asked who to link it to....I was able to scan mine and this worked.
Also... keep trying as you have to hold the redline over the whole bar code and move your phone in a little slowly so you can see all the information...You will know if it works, after it takes the barcode ,you will see that it retrieves info...You will be asked WHO to link that ticket to....Make sure you have the correct tickets linked for each person.
Our tickets were older 10 day PH non-expiration UT tickets. We had five days left...They showed up immediately.
