Has anyone tried, or does anyone know if you can link your "eTickets" to My Disney Experience (MDE)?

I'll be attending the Sept 16th party. I purchased my family's tickets, along with our friends' tickets - online and all at the same time on the same order. I chose the print at home option and I now have a .pdf version of all 8 tickets saved on my computer. The tickets I have are called "eTickets".

I went to MDE today, the ticket linking page asks that you enter your "Will Call Confirmation Number" or your "Ticket ID". The MDE page gives a Will Call sample and shows that the Ticket Order Number for Will Call tickets is under the bar code on the top right of the page.

Since I don't have a Will Call or Paper ticket, I tried entering the only number I see on my eTickets (which is in the same place as the Will Call tickets). When I do that, I receive an error message saying that these tickets have already been linked to another account. I can't see how that would have happened, since, I am the only one who has seen these tickets, i.e. I haven't shared these tickets (.pdf) with our friends yet.

- - - This pass or ticket is already linked to an account. Please enter a different ID number or call (407) 939-4357 for assistance. Guests under 18 years of age must have parent or guardian permission to call. - - -

My only guess is that "eTickets" can't be linked (I'm hoping that is the case).

I'll probably end up calling Disney for assistance or clarity, but, I'd like to reach out here to see if anyone has experienced the same thing.

Background Info:
I'll be staying offsite this year.
I do have 1-Day Hoppers for my family.
We might go to a watermark.

Thanks in advance!!

I didn't do e-tickets, as they're mailing me mine. But I was able to link them to MDE immediately - before they even mailed them to me, right after purchase. (Actually, I don't have them in my hands yet). I'm also going Sept 16th.

I'm not sure why you wouldn't be able to link etickets. I don't remember what I did to link them before, but it was very, very little work. There was no typing in numbers for MNSSHP since I bought them through the Disney website so they had record of it right away. Any chance you have another account using a different email/username?

Interesting...........you should most definitely call. We have MMNSHP tickets for the same day (:thumbsup2) but I got the mailed hard ticket option......actually looks like a Disney Gift card.........and our tickets automatically linked to MDE. I looked one day and it was there. :cool1: All the documentation says we still have to bring the hard ticket. Given you have .pdf tickets you have what seems to me that part covered! Not sure how having it on the MDE will matter.........also I believe they don't go to the MB's either.

A phone call should clear it up. Cya at the party :yay:

I booked my MNSSHP tickets at the same time I booked my trip (used Liberty Travel). I am going in October, so I don't have anything in hand yet. I was able to link mine though. I think it may have given me the same message when I tried it at first, but then, when I looked using MDE signing in through safari, instead of using my iPhone app, it was listed under my reservations.

I figured it out!!

The eTicket has both a number directly under the bar code and an actual Order Confirmation Number under the party's date. The order confirmation number is the same for all 8 tickets.

I went back to MDE, entered the Order Confirmation Number and it successfully linked all 8 tickets to my account.

See you all Sept 16th. This will be our first hard ticket event and we can't wait to experience it.
