Linking Memory Maker Photos

We will be in WDW at the end of the month and plan on purchasing Memory Maker. Is it true that in order to get the advanced purchase price of $149, you need to purchase it at least 3 days before your first day in WDW? Or is it 2 weeks in advance?

Also, we will be going with my parents, under 2 separate reservations (ours and theirs). If for some reason we split up in the parks, would my parents be able to take their own photos using our Memory Maker account if it is linked to their Magic Bands?

At least 3 days in advance. It doesn't include pictures that are taken within 3 days of purchase.

MM is just the entitlement that allows you to download the photos. So yes, even if you are not with them, their photos will be available for you to download. This is true as long as you are authorized to view/purchase their photos (it is a setting on the MDE account).

Memory maker is the ability to download photos. Anyone can collect them, they can share their photos with you and you can download them. If they're in your account they're downloadable
