Linking MDE with Family ???s

I just sent my Father in law the request to link my MDE with his. They are on a separate reservation and arriving for the last 4 days of our trip. The last time I did Disney there was no such thing so let me know if I'm right about what I linking our MDEs will do.

1. When I made our ADRs I knew that they were coming for the last couple days of our trip so I "added" family members with their names that aren't linked to an MDE. I thought I saw a place where I could reassign guests to the ADRs, so once we link I will be able to reassign him and my MIL instead of the "dummy" names and the ADRs will show in his account too. But he won't be able to make changes, right? I don't want them accidentally cancelling one of those hard to get ADRs. If there is potential for them to do that I would not add them, just inform them of the times for their reference.

2. We will have Memory Maker. By linking our MDEs they can use their magic bands for photos and they will just add to the account and they will be able to see the photos and download photos from their account once they are home.

3. I will be making our FP+ reservation 5 days before they can. Will they be able to use the copy feature to make it easier to match their FP+ with ours? Again, will they be able to change anything accidentally with ours?

This is complicated but hoping to get it all right! Thanks!

1) They won't be able to cancel or make any changes to an ADR in your name.

2) They will be able to add and view photos but only one person can have download privileges. In order to add and view you have to give each person with their own MDE account permission to do this. You can check by clicking edit next to their name in your My Family and Friends list. In order to see each other's photos they will need to be linked each other's MDEs and give each other permission as well.

3) You can try to use the copy feature to add your FP+ selection to their accounts, subject to availability. You can change each other's FP+ selections.
