It sounds like you have vouchers. With Will Call you don't get anything in the mail, you get a confirmation number and there is a confirmation page you can print out to bring to the ticket window. If you opt for vouchers, you pay $3 to have them mailed to you and get plastic cards in the mail.
Sorry, they are called Exchange Certificate.
Sorry, they are called Exchange Certificate. I purchased the Premium Annual Pass with the special discount for DVC members, and this is what they send.
When you purchase an AP over the phone or online you have two options.I purchased my APs over the phone the end of February and only received a will call number. I was told I would not receive anything in the mail. Is this correct? I was able to use that number on MDE and they are linked to my account. Why didn't I get a voucher?![]()
When you purchase an AP over the phone or online you have two options.
1. You can opt for "Will Call" and get a confirmation number immediately that you can enter into MDE. (You can also print out the confirmation page if purchasing online). You present the confirmation number (printed page) at the ticket window along with an ID, DVC member card and get your AP.
2. You can opt to pay $3 and have a plastic voucher mailed to you. You take the plastic voucher with you to WDW and present it at the ticket window along with your ID and DVC member card to get your AP. There is number on the voucher you can enter in to MDE. It takes 10 days or so for your voucher to arrive in the mail.
When I've purchased APs for DH and I a year or more in advance (to avoid a price increase) I opt for vouchers so that I have something in my Disney file here at home to remind me I have pre-paid APs I can use on a future trip. If I purchase an AP/PAP to use in the near future, I opt for Will Call to save myself the $3 shipping charge.
Consider it a rare gift from the mouse. I've ordered APs online a few times and always got hit with the $3 shipping charge when I opted to have vouchers mailed to me instead of using Will Call. That is not exactly right. I did NOT have to pay a $3 shipping charge. I ordered mine on-line, not over the phone, maybe this has something to do with it. All I know is that I wish Disney was consistent, so there wouldn't be all this confusion.
You also need to bring a photo ID. If you purchased APs for other family members who live in the same household, the other adults will also need to present photo IDs showing they live at the same address as the DVC member.Yes, I wish they were consistent also! So, because I ordered over the phone, all I need to do is have my number and my DVC membership card, correct?

Why do you want the vouchers? Whether you have vouchers or use Will Call the process is the same -- you go to a ticket window and either turn in the vouchers or provide your Will Call number to get your tickets. One isn't easier or faster than the other. With vouchers you must remember to bring them with you to WDW. With Will Call you bring the confirmation number though I think I read here that they can look it up for you if you don't remember to bring the number with you.I do remember we needed photo ID. I am a little unhappy that member services didn't ask me if I wanted to purchase a voucher. I asked if I would receive something in the mail and was only told "no". I guess it really doesn't matter though. Thanks for clearing this up for me![]()
Maybe shipping is included for this special DVC PAP deal.I ordered the DVC PAP vouchers online on March 18. I received them yesterday (5 days later) and I wasn't charged a $3.00 shipping charge. Strange.
If you use Will Call, you enter the Will Call confirmation number in MDE. If you opt for vouchers, there is a number on the back of the cards and you enter that into MDE. Provided you have entered your DVC reservation confirmation number in to MDE, you will be allowed to make FP+ reservations starting 60 days from check-in.We are about to do this and I was curious how this would tie into the MB. If we do not 'activate' till our Nov trip would we get MB and be able to prebook FP?
