Linking a new ticket to an old MB?

My DD has a magic band from our last trip in the fall. I ordered her a new MYW ticket for our upcoming trip. How do I link her old band to the new ticket? Thanks in advance.

If you purchased from Disney, the ticket should already show up in MDE - you would select who it is for, and if her MB is still active in your MDE it should automatically link to it. If you purchased from a 3rd party you will need to link your ticket first.

You link tickets to your MDE account, not to magic bands - the magic bands are just a means to access what's in the account.

To restate:
You don't link anything to a MagicBand.
You link things to your MDE account.

In the same way that you don't link money to a check,
you link it to your checking account.

Thank you all. Her ticket is registered and linked to MDE already. Did our FP's last night. The magic bands were sent to us from our hotel in the fall as we stayed on-site. So then I guess her band will just work automatically with her new ticket?
