Linking 3 rooms and the DDP

I tried doing a search and could not find my exact situation. We are a group of 12 with 3 different rooms. Only one room wants to do the DDP. Can I link the 3 rooms on My Disney Experience and have only one room add the dining plan? Or do I need to keep them separate?

You can link all three with only one with DDP. Only those guests on the unit with DDP will be able to access those credits.

They can be linked in MDE with only one villa having the DDP. No problems.

what do you mean by linking the rooms?

There's no problem with only one room getting the DDP, but only the guests in that room will have the ability to use the dining credits on their magic bands.

In other words, you can share the dining credits with others, but the person with the DDP plan will have to be there to scan their band for the meal.

Thank you so much for the quick responses. I understood about the dining credits being assigned only to those in that room. I just do not want the people in the other two rooms to be compelled to purchase the dining plan if they are linked in the same MDE.

It is so much easier for me, the trip planner/coordinator to have access to everyone. That way I can coordinate dining reservation, fast passes etc.
