Linked Ressies...Change Room?

Hi Guys,

I called MS today and changed our Saturday night studio w/points to Sat Studio on cash LINKED with our points ressie ....question is do you usually stay with same room or do they usually make you change rooms? They told me they don't guarantee to stay in the same room , but don't they say that anyways to just cover themselves?

If the cash night was made thru MS and they linked it, you will not have to move. I would still confirm that at check-in, but as long as it was linked you normally won't need to move.

It is possible that you would need to pick up new room keys for the cash night, but even that may be tied to your original check-in.

Thanks Doc , it never takes too long to get an answer here. I made both parts of ressies through MS and was told they linked them. Which I thought meant no room changing but then she said that wasn't guaranteed so I was just checking to see what Members had history with doing this . Thanks again

If you do a reservation using points for some nights and cash for the others, can you pick which nights you use your points? We want to do the cash part for the first part of our stay and then the points for the last 2-3 nights. Is this possible?

Sure. You can make the reservation however you'd like- all based on availability. There may be times when cash nights are not yet available and vice versa- depending on when you call to make the reservation.

Most will try to use cash for the weekend nights since the point costs are so much higher then. At 11 months, there may little of no cash availability.
