Hi,

I know a lot of people post the actual rec calendar, but I am looking for the direct link to it from Disney's site. I used to be able to manipulate it to show me any resort I wanted as well as previous calendars, but for some reason, I can't do it now.

So, instead of posting a pic of the calendar, can someone please post me the link that links back directly to Disney's site?

I post the calendar monthly but have to wait till it hits the next around the first of every month. I used the link you shared for a while but as you point out it no longer works and I don't know what the new link is.

Wish I did.

I asked a while back on the Resorts Forum and no one gave it.

So this is what I was able to figure out...
The current months calendar is at http://www.themouseforless.com/tripplanning/resorts/wdw/pdf/FWCalendar.pdf
For OTHER Disney locations, you need to figure out what they call the calendar. Same path just a different file name based on the resort.
Fort Wilderness' calendar is called FWCalendar.pdf. The Pop Century's calendar is PopCalendar.pdf so it's link is http://www.themouseforless.com/tripplanning/resorts/wdw/pdf/PopCalendar.pdf and Art of Animation is AoACalendar.pdf and it's link is http://www.themouseforless.com/tripplanning/resorts/wdw/pdf/AoACalendar.pdf

So the key is to determine what the Abbreviation is for the Resort you are looking for. They are also case sensitve so AoaCalendar.pdf won't work. Getting previous (or future) calendars may be more challenging.

Paul, that's where it is when it "hits the Net".

Disney has a website of their own with files like park hours, rec calendars, etc. primarily for use by Travel Agents to pull that info from. The beauty of it was that link would usually be up a few days before the end of the month.

Here is an old thread with the old link and the old codes for the various resorts.

I'm going to turn you loose and see if you can sleuth your way around to find the new link. There's a bonus in it for you!

PS - here is a current link to park hours: http://media.disneywebcontent.com/StaticFiles/ParkHours/WDWTravelAgent_june.pdf

Maybe this destination url is sort of a "current month" folder? Maybe they aren't archiving the months thus having a date code of some kind?

Then again, in the old structure had a current month folder and archived monthly named folders too so who knows. It will be interesting if you can find any monthly folders.

Great job so far!

Yeah. I am along that same line of thinking. A friend of mine and I worked around an hour last night to crack this code. We have some other codes we're working on as well. I know the information exists and I just wonder why they go out of their way to bury it.

I just want to see July so I can have a loose plan. We're not doing any parks the time we're there because I'm not crazy. So, we're relying heavily on resort activities and eating at our cabin. I'd like to not be in the middle of lunch when the kids could be playing.

I agree... I tried looking for over an hour. I was really looking for that bonus..... :(

They maybe archiving the past, somewhere/somehow, but it's not obviously clear and they directly is kind of locked down.

With the new codes, for some reason, an few resorts are different while others are duplicated:

For most resorts, the code is:
http://image.emails.disneydestinations.com/lib/fe9d15737d66047d71/m/8/PWR1FAKf.pdf where the bold, underlined letter is exchanged for the letter in the table.

1 = Saratoga Springs
2 = Animal Kingdom Lodge (Duplicate)
3 = Animal Kingdom Lodge - Jambo
4 = Bay Lake Tower
A = All Star Music
B = Grand Floridian
C = Contemporary
D = Yacht & Beach
E = All Star Movies
F = Fort Wilderness
I = Boardwalk
J = Wilderness Lodge

N = Coronado Springs
O = Port Orleans French Quarter
P = Polynesian
Q = Animal Kingdom Lodge - Kidani
R = Caribbean Beach
S = All Star Sports
V = Art of Animation
W = Yacht & Beach (Duplicate)
Z = Boardwalk (Duplicate)

However, POR and Y&B, Pop, and OKW seem to have different codes, not sure why. For those resorts the links are:

http://image.emails.disneydestinations.com/lib/fe9d15737d66047d71/m/8/PWREFAKL.pdf <-- This code points to POR

With the following table:

G = Pop Century
K = Old Key West
L = Port Orleans Riverside
O = Port Orleans French Quarter

For POR: the code is

FOR Y&B, it's
http://image.emails.disneydestinations.com/lib/fe9d15737d66047d71/m/8/PWREFAKY.pdf

L = Port Orleans Riverside
Y = Yacht & Beach Club

The difference between the two codes, is in the last section where the 1 in the first code is replaced by an "E". Not sure why the difference, working on cracking that. However, it seems that there is no longer an archive and we can't look backward.
