Link studio and 2 bedroom?

Has anyone been able to link a studio to a subsequent 2 bedroom res?
I have a studio res on arrival day (late) and change to a 2 bedroom the rest of the weekend.
I was hoping to be able to keep our stuff in the studio and then just open the door to the rest of the 2
bedroom villa when it is available.

It's logistically awkward. I wouldn't count on it happening for you.

You can possibly make a request to not have to change rooms but there is no link to guarantee it.

Also not to sound stupid but you do have a 2 BR lockoff booked correct? If not you would definitely have to change rooms.

You can ask at the front desk if they can let you stay in the same half of a lock off 2BR. But of course you would have had to reserve a 2BR lock off not a dedicated 2BR. They may not be able to let you stay in the studio though.

We've done several versions of this where we stayed in a studio opening to a 2BR, stayed in a 2 BR, downsizing to a studio, stayed in rooms secured with different types of points (cash and DVC, DVC and RCi exchange). I always request with all parties up front and renew the request at check in and again on the change day since you have to "check in" again anyway. As noted, it does have to be a lockoff 2 BR to do so.
