Hi! We'd like to catch a Flower Power concert at 6:45 pm on a Sunday night. What time would you recommend getting in line for a seat? Thanks!

1st show is at 5:30 and is always the most crowded as well as the hardest to get a seat up front as there could be people standing in line as early as 2-3pm for the most popular groups. They've been letting the line in about 30-35 minutes before the shows so if you're interested in being up front for the 6:45 show you could get in line at 5pm or so along with the people in line for the first show and instead of going in to the theater for the 5:30 show just stay in the front of the line to wait for the next show. You'll be first in line for the second show and from up near the front of the line you can actually see the first show a little.

Wow! Thanks for the detailed info! We'll now be in EP Friday and Sunday and I've made early reservations in restaurants close to the theater. We'll try to get in on Friday, but if it doesn't work out, I'll try adjust plans and try again on Sunday.

Thanks so much!

I know others will disagree, but I've never found it necessary to stand in line for an hour and a half for a Flower Power concert. We've been to a bunch of them at several F&G shows and haven't had a problem just walking in the back to get a seat maybe 20-30 minutes before showtime. You certainly won't get a seat near the front that way, if that's important to you. But the theater rarely fills to full capacity the way it does for something like the Candlelight Processional. If it's important to you to be absolutely sure you have a seat for a particular group and/or concert time or to be very close to the front, then by all means stand in line to assure that. But otherwise, it may not be necessary.

Good to know, thank you! We definitely don't need seats in the front. Any where will do. My DS6 and I just need a spot to boogie a little bit!

I agree that you don't need to get in line that early unless having a seat in the front is important to you.

You are lucky to be seeing Village People. We saw them last year and they were awesome! High energy and lots of fun.

Yes, I'm so excited! My DS actually knows some of the songs and, I think, will get a kick out of the costumes. Really looking forward to it! Thanks so much for all of the advice!
