Lingerie shopping?

Guys, do you like to go lingerie shopping with your SO/DW? My SIL, my dd and I went into one store that sells primarily lingerie (some other stuff too, but I like the lingerie part better than their clothes). I saw some guys in there with their lady and I couldn't tell if they were bored or were trying NOT to look too excited, lest they get a big ole whop on the head from their lady. I know it embarrasses my SO a lot to go into stores like that.

I agree with Lea Ann. I've bought expensive lingerie. Beautiful, not trashy. However, my take on men is that they seem more interested in the protoplasm than the garments. Perhaps, lingerie will be a positive "spark" when I'm an old-married type.

LOL! I have to wear underthings during the day though, JTB. I might get arrested or fired if I go without them during the day.

I wouldn't think it would embarrass Pop Daddy to go to a lingerie place. I think the ladies might think you're a perv if you take the stuff in the dressing room for yourself to try them on.

I agree that you should wear underthings during the day but I think that they should be functional rather than asthetically pleasing (which I am sure I spelled wrong, it is summer, give me a break! ).

Lots of Laughs, WillyJ. You helped make my point. The entire sales pitch of Victorias Secret is that one will FEEL sexier. Perhaps for some women, that's good. However, men don't seem to want to wait 15 minutes to admire a matching bra-panties outfit.

I am always shocked at what he finds sexy. I tend to choose lacy, silky, etc. Victoria's secret style

But he likes the plain stuff better......white tank top and a thong, which is nice, because it IS more comfortable, and you can wear to bed without being obvious.

Lemme just say I spend a small fortune at Victoria's Secret and it's more for me than anyone else. DH refuses to even step foot in that store because he's afraid that he will be thought of as a "perv."

This is a real pet peeve of mine -- I hate it when men hang around the lingerie department! Can’t they do something else while their wife is looking there? Yuck, I do not need strange men knowing what kind of undergarments I wear!

My DH doesn't go along, but he tells me I have an unlimited budget.
