If you are in line for a ride before park closing will they let you ride the ride even if it is not your turn until after the official closing time?

Yes, you will be able to ride. The CM's often have to work an hour past closing time to clear the lines. At least that is the case with DD and Nemo.:cutie:

Yes. They close the LINE, not the ride. If you're IN the line, you're fine.

Thanks you guys for answering that so fast.

Best time to ride screaming is the last 10minutes.. As no preffered seating and the line goes really quick. We usually ride it 2 or 3 times before the park closes. Also when we ride PP. As the line isn't as bad..

Once we rode Splash Mountain three times in a row right before closing. The first time we ran around and got back in line really fast (just a few people) and the last time, there was no one in line. We asked, "can we go around one more time?" and it was ALMOST time for them to shut down...I added "it's our last night and this is our very last ride!" so they did it...we didn't get off the log, rode the ride again and when we got off it was about 10:15 and the park officially closed at 10!! A great memory!

Actually had a different expirience a few days ago. It was about 5 minutes prior to closing and we'd just booked it from CornDog Castle to ride TOT before heading over to Disneyland. When we got there, there were people in line but the gates were closed and they weren't letting anyone else in. We figured that maybe we'd missed the closing announcement being in a rush to get over there, but sure enough right as we passed out of HPB the closing announcement came on. I don't know if this is a regular thing, or just a CM who was anxious to go home - but the queue was closed a few minutes prior to closing. Now, we've been to DL and DCA hundreds of times and ridden rides plenty of times at the last minute, but just be careful if it's something you really want to go on - cause I guess you never know.

We caught the last train one night at NOS. It didn't even pick us up until 15 minutes after closing time. At each station, the CM closed up just before the train left the station. It was fun to see the park so empty, especially back at the Toontown station. My kids still talk about the night we closed DL

Thanks everyone. I read in a post that someone was concerned about not making it onto a ride before park closing and therefore having to had waited in the line for nothing. So, I'm glad to know that as long as you are in line they will let you on.

I could definitely see why they would close up the outside of TOT early...after all, how many times have you walked right into the hotel with no wait, and go through the whole preamble and finally get to the boiler room and there are about a gazillion people in front of you?! So, there were probably plenty of people who were in line, then riding the "ride" portion after official closing.

We've "shut her down" on the train before too...it's fun to jump on the last train at NOS and then ride around the entire park after closing!
