Line Prediction Times

I used TouringPlans last year and they varied from spot on (including more accurate than the DL estimates) to miles off. I still found it useful even just to see how attractions were looking and it also gave an estimate on how busy or quiet it will be for the rest of the day.

We used an app called Disneyland Wait Times, and it was EXTREMELY accurate in all of our experience (have used it for three trips now). Sometimes it was more accurate than the time posted at the actual attraction.

The wait times are as accurate as the people inputing the times. I've had times when it has said 15 min for Racers, so we head over, just to find it is 60 and someone just entered either 1. the wrong time on accident or 2. a wrong time to mess with people. I LOVED Verizon's Mobile Magic when it was live. Wish they'd bring it back.

I think they are all based on park goers reporting so they are always an estimate.

As others have said, the wait time apps are only as good as how many guests in the parks are using them and submitting accurate times. I would use multiple apps to get a sense of the possible wait time, but know that it could be very different if someone put in a fake time, the last time entered was a while ago, or if someone put in the wrong time. I use a combination of Disneyland Waits and Mousewait. I like that Mousewait tells you when the time was last updated so you can see if it was 5 minutes ago or 5 hours ago. I also use Disneyland's official phone line, Ask Otto (714-520-7090), to get wait times and FP return times.

Was just in the parks for 5 days last week - Mousewait and Disneyland Wait Times were the most accurate to they park's posted times. Lines - I wasn't that impressed with their wait times, but like another poster still found good information on the app. I think Lines is stronger at WDW than DL.

Mousewait is very good. Lots of users so you have a lot of people updating it. The only time I've seen the updates lag is very early right after the park opens but most of the waits times then are minimal so it's not much of an issue. If you download it, register with the app so you can update wait times on the app as well. They have never spammed me but they did send me a link recently for a huge discount at the California Grand for some mousewait event they were having there.
