I posted this in the Disney tips also, I am looking for all the ideas I can!!!!!I would love to know what you guys do for the kindergarten and pre-school aged children waiting in lines? We are traveling with six kids ages 13, 12, 10, 6, 4, 2 I am not worried about the older children but I would love some ideas for the younger kids.

My daughter was almost 3 at our last visit. These are some of the things we did while wating in line or waiting for a parade...

Play "I Spy" (my daughter's favorite)
Play hand rhyme games (Miss Mary Mack, Miss Sue, A Sailor Went to Sea etc.)
Blow Bubbles
Look through Autograph Books
Look through Pressed Pennies
Travel Magna Doodle (they are not to big - about the size of an autograph book and have endless possiblities!)
Have a special Treat (my daughter picked out a lollypop kind of candy that lasted her the whole trip. It was really like a roll-on deoderant bottle, but filled with a grape candy. She loved it, it kept her busy in lines or waiting for parades and it packed up nice and neat in the backpack.)
At night, Light toys are great (we brought a light spinner toy we got at Target for $3 and it was a total hit! - great for waiting for Fantasmic!)

I also hit the "party bag junk aisle" at dollar stores....I have gotten 6 packs of mini rubix cubes, ball puzzles, etc. Than if they are lost/broken at that price I don't care. I also have been known to pass these out to screamers around me.

For our neice (9) we took cards from the Disney Trivial Pursuit. Lots of fun trying to guess the answers & often ended up with other people guessing.

Great Idea with the Disney Trivia Cards.
We have the kids pack of cards and my daughter loves them.
We'll have to do that for our next trip!
Good Tip!

These are all great tips, I will have to make my own trivia cards I think one because some of my kids are really small and also because I don't have the disney trivial persuit, shame shame on me.
