Line cutting and line saving

The odd part of this one is that these were in single rider lines. These were not lines were people were all waiting together to get on the ride.

I've heard of that happening before. That is line skipping at its worst. You use the single rider line to get to the front and then skip to the regular line. I haven't seen it but I did hear someone mention it once before.

I saw this exact thing on Forbidden Journey in early August. I was waiting in the single rider line and a group of about 3 or 4 people walked up behind me. There was a slight gap in the regular line beside us (maybe someone wasn't paying attention and lagged a bit). This group from the single rider line slipped under the rope and got into the regular line. Voila, they get to ride together with only a short wait.

My last and strongest memory of UO was from their Halloween party, maybe 15-18 years ago, where the line cutting by the teen mobs was awful. The experience there was so bad that if it weren't for the Harry Potter sections, we'd probably never go back to those parks, even during normal, low-season days.

I am not sure that I mind one person catching up with their group vs an entire "herd" of people cutting into line. I would probably be bothered by "saving" spots in the single rider line (after all, it is a "single" person line) In our case, my daughter has a medical condition that causes her to need to use the restroom at very inconvenient times like after making a restroom stop or standing in line, etc. I would hope that another guest would not embarrass her even more with something she cannot control.

I was extremely annoyed when a herd of 10 inconsiderate dipwads "joined" their relatives while everyone else was patiently waiting in line for a photo op w/ Minnie & Mickie. It was very obvious and right in front of a CM who said nothing. They then proceeded to be even bigger jerks by taking individual pics as well. By the time they were done, the duo had to leave and they were replaced by Goofy. No one in line was happy, but when the CMs do nothing, what options are left? I just put on a happy face for the kid. Obviously getting a pic w/ Goofy is fun as well, but it's soured by such a circumstance.
