No exceptions for family members.
And why not? If a family member is holding a spot in line than they have been in line as long as you it shouldn't matter to you.

Ill join your crew!
Excellent! We raised three children the same way. Its not hard to do and it teaches the children to be responsible for their actions.
I shouldnt have to remind anyone that the line starts at the end, but sometimes we have that burden thrust upon us. Resorting to violence to prevent or correct ill mannered behavior is not appropriate but ignoring such misbehavior just invites and encourages more misconduct.
Some people will challenge line cutters because Disney CMs dont.
No exceptions for family members.
I dont agree with holding places in line. If you want to get on the ride get in line at the back and wait your turn. If that's to difficult , stay home.
Now, now no need to get mean.People all over the place are complaining about the waits in the summer, do you really think that people are going to get out of line when they have been waiting some time now and there little on had an accident?
I don't think so.
One parent and child should be able to go to the restroom and come back and get in line. It should go the same way no matter how many people or how old they are. You are trying to say that you would get out of line after waiting in line for 30 minutes and wait again?
I don't think so unless you are a saint of some sort.

Yes if I had to leave the line I would never have the gall to cust back in, I would go to the end.
Where do we draw the line? So if my party can hold "it" but another party can't I should be penalized?
Even if someone from your party was waiting with you?
Why should they have to go all the way back with you and be "penalized"?![]()
I don't know about the timing on Busch Gardens, but both Universal and Six Flags introduced their versions AFTER Disney created FastPass.Universal has the "Express Pass" which is either bought for an extra price with the ticket or comes free if you stay at one of their 3 hotels. Even Six Flags got in on it by offering special tours for an extra fee
How do you define/determine who's a family member? And, as for the tour groups cutting in line? You've apparently never been in a line where that's happened. Many others have had actual experience with this exact problem.I believe I said Family Member... Even still, you could easily do the same thing. I honestly can't picture a whole tour group cutting in line, they are wild but I don't think that a group that large can cut.

Can you picture 20 or 30 of them cutting in a line? If not, go to WDW any day in July to the most crowded lines and watch. They will do it...a few at a time.
I still say that with a valid reason spot holding is acceptable.
People having fun instead of waiting=bad.
People running errands instead of waiting=good.
I don't get the justification.
You getting a fastpass or someone being on a ride makes NO difference, the result is still the same for all the people in line behind you.
