Line cutters

This. There are some complete nut jobs out there.
One reason I just "let it go" is i ran into one of those types once. Was at a food and wine in NJ and someone cut me then didn't move because she was grabbing drinks from the bar set up there. I said excuse me a few times and was ignored so i and the rest of the line went ahead, she started screaming and poured her beer over me. She followed me as I tried to leave and the booths refused to call security. I ended up having to call 911 while in a convention to get someone to get her away from me so I could get to my room safely. So after that i do not say a word, you never know if it's going to be some crazy person who will take it too far.

Also maybe a shirt with a good saying on the back could help. LINE BUTTERS LINE STARTS HERE
There has been talk of having shirts made up with this on the back:

Looking for suggestions on how to handle this, or strategies that have worked for you in regards to people cutting in line. I am often overwhelmed when I see a large group try to cut in front of us while their one or two people have stood in line. Not quite sure what to say or how to handle it.

I just silently judge them. I do find the practice rude when a large group has to "catch up" to their even larger group.

If folks want to judge me, that is fine. But I do think it is wrong and the minor exceptions, I have yet to see. It seems to be a bunch of younger folks that are childless. One day, it was at Toy Story and the teen/young adults were joining their party after they got their AP Star Wars posters. They should have either waited as a group or get the posters after the ride. There was no benefit of the doubt here.

But I don't think it resolves anything to speak up. And it doesn't happen often enough to be a huge bother. It doesn't make it any less rude.

In fairness, you have to expect that this kind of thing will happen in New Jersey.
