ok guys it's mom again (Wendy)...Lindsay hijacked my laptop so she could talk with ms Wendy and a few others here...when I read my last post that said "I'm a typical teenager..."...I was like wooo...haven't been there in quite a while...lol! She is soooo excited. I haven't seen her like this in a LONG time and although she still isn't having great days...all this is making them so much better than they would be...thanks everyone!

My MIL is our dog sitter...she thinks Bella is her youngest grandchild...lol! She stays at our house while we are gone. She struggles financially and doesn't have cable so it is a vacation for her to come stay at our house and play with Bella and enjoy the tv ...and I am so thankful to her for doing that! I am glad you popped in...had you and your family on my mind all day and in my prayers. Our son is 21 and goes to NC State. Where does your oldest go to college? I would LOVE to meet sometime!

Thank ya'll for following along on our journey!...and I agree with everyone that Lindsay's face when she opens the box with the camera in it says it all! Each box has been so special and has so often moved us both to tears...just the fact that total strangers have found it in their heart to make such a difference in our lives!!! I'm tearing up just thinking about it so let's get back to more pics!
Yesterday there were 4 boxes waiting at our door after the mailperson delivered our mail and boy was Linds excited!!! (and me too)

The first one was from Jill (dis name is Jas0202) and it was the most beautiful wheelchair bag that straps to the back of the chair. Jill, you couldn't have picked better colors for Linds if you had tried and she LOVED the minnie head with her name on it! I thought the neat thing was when we need to transport from her wheelchair I can convert it to a shoulder bag...WE LOVED IT!

Next Lindsay opened a box from Nancy Amor (not sure of her dis name) but it was filled with scrapbook items. One of Lindsay's fav scrapbook things has always been shaker boxes and yes, there were shaker boxes in there!...and even some premade scrapbook pages. She looked at each item and started making mental notes now of pics she HAS TO TAKE on her trip to use her scrapbook elements.

at this point I have to split this into 2 post because I have too many pics so stay tuned...

Next came a box from Cheryl (wdwmickey) and WOW is all I can say. Cheryl, you fixed Lindsay up! Cheryl sent a beautiful red scrapbook album, cardstock and some of the most beautiful scrapbook paper pcing I have seen. She even included elements for things she knew Linds would do on her trip like tea at the GF!...and your premade pages were beautiful! It has been so cool to see the different pages made by EVERYONE as everyone has their own style. Linds says this scrapbook will be so special because she will have layouts from so many special people in this album after her trip...thank you!

& of course nose Bella had to see what was going on...lol!

And then Linds got to open the big box that came from Cheryl Stees (not sure of dis name)...and in this box was 4 tissue wrapped gifts, one for each of us. Linds and I opened ours right then...hehe...we couldn't wait! Dad opened his as soon as he came home and Dalton "dared" anyone to open his for him...he is away at college and will be home next weekend and is looking forward to opening his himself so I will post more pics next weekend Cheryl...but I took a peek and I know he will love it. In the box was toiletry bags hand sewn for each of us with the cutest Mickey zipper pulls on each one and then she also put items in each pack like toothpaste, hand gel, etc...I was excited to find aleve in mine...I know I will put that little bottle to good use with all the walking we will do In one of the following pics Linds is making a pouty face...being the mean momma I told her once I saw they were for each of us that we had to wait on the boys to open them and boy she didn't like that at all. But we were both so excited that as you can see I gave in

and dh HATES to have his pic made so this is really a GOOD smile for him and of course Bella attached herself to daddy as soon as he got home!

When we had our big give for my nephew, I felt EXACTLY the same as you girls - so humbled and teary and thankful that people around the country could care about our little family - it was amazing!!!!!!

To be honest I am not real sure right at the moment what else to plan...I am waiting to hear back from MAW as to our dates. Everything is so confused right now. If they don't change our dates I'm not sure what we will be because we phycially can't be there until the night of 12/23. If they switch out dates to what we had originally thought we have lunch with Pooh, Dinner at Chef Mickeys, Dinner at Whispering Canyon, lunch at 50's Prime Time and b'fast with the Grinch...and hopefully some type of behind the scenes tour for Linds but I am afraid to confirm anything now until I hear back from MAW. I put a call into their regional ofc yesterday but still haven't heard anything ...will keep you posted!

I am so glad Lindsay liked the scrappin' items and her face when she opened the camera was priceless My younger DD is also 16 and she loves photograpy and scrappin'. You and Lindsay should join us on the creativity side of the boards, we do lots of fun croping and swaping (where you make & trade items with other scrappers). My DD and I love the swaps
