Lindsay & Ryan's Wishes PJ 10/25/13 **Planning Session TR Pt 4! 5/21/13**

Okay so I just read through your entire PJ (decided my homework wasn't as important lol). I love all of your plans so far!
Love the dress you picked for your e-session. DF and I just had our e-shoot with Regina a couple of days ago and she is amazing. I am sure you will have a great time. Can't wait to read more!

Thanks so much for reading my ramblings! The PJs can definitely become addictive and seemingly more important that homework/work responsibilities! I am so glad you enjoyed your shoot with Regina! We have heard so many good things and are really looking forward to the shoot. Here's hoping we can be relazed and photogenic!

I just finished reading through your PJ and I love everything so far!! I loved your last post, because I'm in a very similar situation right now! My DF and I are also planning on having an October 2013 wedding, and we're waiting to hear about our dates also! We've chosen October 13th as our first choice, but Diane told us similar, that October was super busy, so to choose a back-up, which is now October 6. So our dates are coming up, and we're getting just as anxious as you sound to find out! We only got engaged a month ago, so I CAN NOT image having to wait the amount of time you have had, so you must be beyond anxious!!

I haven't gotten around to starting my PJ yet, but it's so fun finding out brides who are in similar situations, and I can't wait to keep reading all about your up-coming plans!! I also hope you have lots of fun on your upcoming trip and engagement pictures!

It's so nice to here someone else is going through our October situation! It's really not so bad but it definitely can make you a little nervouse. Fingers crossed both our dates work out!

The wait has deeeefinitely been long but now that we're at the point where things are starting to get going I am actually thankful for all the time. I was in my first year of teaching last year and I really think with everything else going on in our lives trying to plan the wedding would have been mass chaos. I certainly had my super impatient times though!

Thanks so much for reading, I'd love to check out your PJ whenever you get started. It's so fun!

Congrats on signing up for the Princess Half! That's a great goal!

Can't wait to see your e-pics!

Thanks, Faith! "Goal" being the key word as I am SO not there yet. Can't wait, though!

Hi, everyone! I just wanted to check in as we are leaving for WDW in less than an hour for our annual Halloween trip! I'll be sure to do a (most likely very wordy) trip report after to let everyone know about the festivities and our E-shoot. We are so excited to meet Regina! I hope everyone has magical weekend! princess:

Hi, everyone! Things have finally settled down since we got back from WDW and I promise I'll get started on the TR soon BUT...I have the sneak peak from our engagement shoot! We had a GREAT time with Regina and she is just fantastic at what she does. More about that in the TR! A few of you may have already seen the sneak peek on Facebook but, for those of you who haven't, may I present my favorite photos of Ryan and I ever!

I just LOVELOVELOVE what we've seen so far. :cloud9: I feel like Regina totally read my mind because she went straight to all of the spots I was thinking of and even found more that hadn't occurred to me. So, I hope everyone likes the e-pics and I'll be back with the TR soon! Much love!

Just found your PJ - I love your theme and your vision! Your engagement pics gorgeous.. Good luck with further planning :)

And very personal thanks from me for posting Summer House pics.. We are planning reception there and I barely saw the venue during our Site visit.

Ok, so it took me even longer to get to this TR than I thought it would but I’m finally starting! Before I get to the trip we have our biggest news yet. This week has been a VERY eventful week when it comes to the wedding. Here are the 3 big things that have been going on:

1. My dress shopping trip is this weekend! So, we’ve been busy making plans
for everyone traveling here for the occasion. We’ve organized a few fun
surprises like a limo to take us all to Miami and 3 dozen French macarons to
have in our suites after the dress shopping! I’m also on a diet consisting of a
whooooole lot of water, protein shakes, and protein bars. Not so much to
lose a ton of weight by this weekend or anything but just so I feel good
trying on dresses. I made a pinterest page of all the dresses that each salon
may carry so that I can bring the iPad and show them what I’m thinking. You
can check that our here if you're interested:

I like to be over prepared for this kind of thing. Hopefully we find THE dress!

2. Yesterday, Regina emailed us the link to the rest of our engagement photos
and, of course, we love them! I’ll post our favorites in the e-shoot part of the
trip report. Regina is also making us a slide show so we have to decide on a
song for that. We’re both musicians so we have to think hard about the
song! Now that we have all the e-photos we have to really get rolling on the
save the dates. Does anyone have any suggestions in when would be best to
send the STDs out? We don’t want to do it too too soon but we do want to
give everyone enough time to make plans and/or save money if needed.

3. FINALLY: WE GOT OUR DATE! LIKE, OFFICIALLY! Diane called Monday and
we got our first choices for both time AND date! We will be getting married at
5pm in the Wedding Pavilion with our cocktail our in Whitehall and our
reception in Salon 6 of the GF! I am SO relieved and a bit surprised to have
gotten everything we wanted. I think Diane, our consultant, was smart to
basically have us prepare for the worst and have a couple backup plans. We
would have been happy with our second choices as well and now we were
just surprised and happy to have received our ideal date! Once you have
your date, though, everything happens very quickly. We are already working
on getting our LOA written up and figuring out our room block. I will probably
have to do a whole other post about that freakin room block! But, seriously,
we are so excited to officially be in the real planning stage. Lots to do!

Ok, so now that you’re all caught up I can get to the TR!

The first day of the trip was Friday and both Ryan and I had to work so after we both got out we got on the road. We got off to a bit of a late start and I’m like a little kid when it comes to WDW so I was NOT a happy camper! We also had a big accident like one exit before Disney that had us sitting in one spot for an HOUR! Ugh! Anyway, we did finally make it to the Magic Kingdom just in time for the official party time. We parked in Captain Hook I believe and both got into our costumes right there in the parking lot. Of course we were alllll the way in the last spot so it was interesting changing with a parking cast member right there!

Once we were ready in our Woody and Bo Peep costumes we hopped the tram and headed to the TTC to meet our friend Jay (Buzz Lightyear for the night). From there we took the monorail over to Manstreet. There’s just something about the monorail. It is IMPOSSIBLE for me to be in a bad mood when on the monorail so from then on I was much less stressed! We met the rest of our group on Mainstreet and staked out a spot to watch the parade. While we waited we took our traditional pictures.

The toys are all here!

Ryan and I aka Woody and Bo Peep. We got lots of compliments from cast members for not coming as Woody and Jesse. They said most couples usually do that even though Bo Peep was the only one “romantically involved” with Woody! So funny!

And of course you always need to see a bit of the MK Halloween decorations!

After watching the parade, which is always one of our favorite parts, we grabbed some dinner at Cosmic Rays and then got down to the most important parts of the night: candy and rides! All night the candy was great and the cast members weren’t stingy. I will say, though, there were WAY to many Peanut Chews given out! We all made a pile at the end of the night and the amount of Peanut Chews was absolutely insane. No one even liked them! Anywaaaaay…

We hit most of the big rides and nothing had a line longer than 15 to 20 minutes. Other than Haunted Mansion, which is of course the most Halloween appropriate ride, my favorite ride of the night was Big Thunder. It had been closed for refurb the last 2 times I had been to MK and it is just SO much fun to ride at night and in costume! Ryan had fun being Woody on the wildest ride in the wilderness, too!

Throughout the night we tried to get pictures with as many Toy Story characters as possible.

Everyone with the real Buzz! He loved our costumes and made a big deal out of us. He even nonverbally complimented our Buzz on his costume!

Aaaand, finally, everyone with Woody and Jesse. This was taken during one of the dance parties inside Golden Horseshoe and Woody and Jesse would NOT stop dancing to take this picture. Kind of awkward but funny!

Some other highlights of the night: I was actually able to get the MNSSHP pins! :cool1: Every other year I’ve been I haven’t been able to find any of the party pins while in MK. This year I found most of them! I guess it was because this was the earliest party we’ve attended (October 5th).
Another highlight was seeing a grown man dressed as Russell from UP! It was so cute I wish I had a picture but I didn’t want to be a creeper! I did tell him how much I loved his costume, though.

Overall, it was another amazing MNSSHP! By now from reading my PJ you probably know how much I look forward to the party every year and it never disappoints but it is absolutely best when you go in costume. And the group costumes are always fun because the cast members and other park guests always make a big deal out of you which just adds to the magic!
