Linda's goal = Lose wt + 1/2 marathon 09(encouragement welcome)

Great job today Linda. Wasn't it beautiful running today? So crisp and fall like. I love running in fall with all the sights and smells!! Keep up the great work and you will surely rock the marathon in January. :goodvibes

Hey, Linda. Just checking in to say hi and compliment you on the great consistency you have with your pace! That's a beautiful thing to see - you just keep going no matter what (I think I'm nicknaming you the WISH Energizer Bunny!!). Keep inspiring us out here!

Hope you have a great week!

Susan

3.1 miles today in 29:50,a 9:37 pace.

42 degrees,no sun, no wind (Keeping track for myself to see how,if, weather affects my runs) NOT a fan of winter here!!!!!!

Linda

6 miles today in 58:38,a 9:46 pace.

Used a Garmin for the first time-what a difference to be able to really tell what pace you are doing.

Sunny,breezy and 38 degrees.

Linda

Hi Linda! Just checking in to see how you are doing! Your pace is looking great!

What Garmin did you get? I LOVE mine!!! I have the 405.

Keep up the good work!

Hey Linda! You are doing great with your training!!! Your pace has been great on all those runs....I wish I could run that fast...I am getting there slowly but surely!!

I saw your post about marathon weekend....definetely check out the forum for renting DVC points, you can find some great deals on there, you just have to be quick sometimes when people post. Sometimes AAA has room discounts as well, you may want to check them out as well.

Keep up the good work, you are going to do great in January!!

Thanks Laurie!

Did my 9 miles today in 1:33:47,a 10:25 pace.I am supposed to be doing a 10:49 pace but OMG I can walk faster.

With the Garmin I am borrowing I find that my pace goes all over the place.I am not too consistant.

Weather today is 50, cloudy, no wind.

Linda

Hey Linda. With the Garmin, I find that I'm all over the place too, but I just look at the avg for each mile. I hope you are finding it useful!

Also...keep an eye on any codes that may come out. Last year they had some of OKW and SSR. I'm waiting for codes too. I'll let you know what they have. Hopefully within the next week or two there will be something.

6 miles today in 62:00,a 10:20 pace. That is very comfortable to me but "Smart Coach" says I should be doing this so OK.Not even out of breath.

40,partly cloudy and WICKED WINDY today.

Linda

6 miles in 60:30,a 10:05 pace.It probably was better but I tripped and took a good digger!

50 and sunny

Linda

Linda...nice job with the 10 and 6 mile runs! I think the biking is GREAT cross training as well. Hope you are ok after taking that spill out there...be careful.

What is your furthest scheduled run over the next two months?

Scott
