Last Sunday I completed my 1st 5K of the year...the Lincoln Tunnel Challenge benefiting the Special Olympics.
Let me tell you what a challenge it was!!! Coming out of the tunnels both ways was uphill. So the last mile of the run was all uphill. My goal was 35 mins (been a few months) but I did it just under 36 min. Definitely need more training to have a better time for the next one...which better be soon!!
Further on down the list is the Philly 1/2. I think that's in Sept. Long ways to go for that one!!!
If anyone lives in NY/NJ I highly recommend the Lincoln Tunnel Challenge next year!
