Had a question for you limo experts. I am taking a poll to see which service you thought was the best. I will need two stretch limos to carry 14 people from airport to the port. This is much cheaper for us than the bus. Last year I used Happy Limo as many do on this board. I may use them again. However, they were almost 30 minutes late picking us up to start our trip. No apology, no ice.............etc. Did not start my impression of them off on the right foot. They were there on the return though, at the appropriate time. The limo they sent to finally get us (not Happy) was much nicer than the return limo that was actually one of their fleet. Just looking for other options before I make up my mind .

Thanks

We used Yourride for our trip & couldn't have been happier. Jim was fantastic and everything went exactly as planned.

We used Cartier and we were VERY pleased. I had done an extensive search and they were by far the least expensive ($100 plus tip) for one way plus they do a grocery stop if you want. They arrived 30 minutes early... We were really pleased with the service and the limo was beautiful... We will definitely use them again next year.

I'm not sure. There were only three of us.. I think it would seat 8-10 but I'm not sure if that would work for luggage... to find out for sure, it would be best to email them... cartiertowncar@yahoo.com. The car was beautiful!!!

If you have seen any of my other posts, you know I'm a Tiffany fan. They have the newest, largest fleet...and are never late(unlike me:o ) You would have to call their 800 number for the rates, and they have a coupon on their website as well...www.tiffanytowncar.com
Don't forget though, (as I did!) a limo is really just a looong towncar..that means the trunk is exactly the same, which means you better not have more than two women in each limo, or the luggage will never fit!(we had 10 cases for 2 mummys, and 2 dd's!) If you aren't that much into the chi-chi poo-poo-ness of the limo thing, go for the van...just as much room, if not more, more room for luggage, and generally more economical. Price it out and see...Ask for Jerry if you opt for the van...he is generating quite a following!

Tiffany !! My wife and I have tried a total of 3 different towncar services and Tiffany is our choice hands down. As you will see though, many people will give many responses, and I'm sure each has had a favorable experience with these companies. I t just boils down to a personal perference. Good luck.

I've heard so many good things about Cartier that my family and I are planning on using them for our cruise in September.

Hi,
jJust got home last night. We used yourride from the airport to our hotel, then to the ship and back to the airport. They offered to make a stop at the store for us. They were on time and handled 15 of us and our bags.Of course we didn't have a limo, but I know they have them. Also we couldn't find anyone to beat their price. I will always use them in the future.

We just used Tiffany 2 weeks ago...there were 7 of us in a limo. As previously stated there is limited luggage space. We had a bunch of our luggage on the front seat, the carry on bags were in the back with us. We were 3 kids and 4 adults. We did not mind the luggage in with us, but some might. We had 14 large bags and 4 small ones between us.

Tiffany was on time or early for all 3 legs of our trip. It did not cost tons more than DCL/mears would have. They did not supply enough (or in 1 instance ANY) diet coke...just cokes. The last leg of the trip we did not have ice.

All being considered...I would definitely us Tiffany again.

Donna - Did you say anything about the ice/cokes? (I didn't know they provided them, not up on the limo thing!) Who was your driver?

Andy at FL Tours is exceptional! I have used them many times and highly recommend them. There is a coupon on this site for them too.

No we didn't say anything about the cokes. It wasn't that big of a deal to us. We had 2 drivers and neither of them told us their name. They were neither friendly or unfriendly...they took our bags, and drove us. We did not give any extra tip either. But punctuality is extremely important, which they were, and the limo was very nice.

Wow, I can't believe that! Something should be said...I know Tiffany is generally never late, in fact they are almost always early, as you said. I'm sorry it wasn't as fun as it could have been....being at the airport as much as I am(:p ) I have seen people get out of the limos laughing and joking, and I've always had amazing experiences...better luck next time.

No, actually I am glad the drivers left us alone...I did not feel like interacting to tell you the truth. Maybe they sense that and adjust accordingly.

When am I planning on going back? Well working on DH now. My sis and BIL are probably not..DS needs to decide if he wants to go it alone or not. And work needs to decide if they will give me the vacation time (they are "uncertain" about letting me take 2 Mardi Gras off back to back)...BUT am hoping for Feb 21, 04 cruise....waiting on a quote from Dreams as we speak!!! :p
