limos and grocery stops???

hi,
hope someone can help me out here.

i'm going to disney june 25-july 3 and made reservations with Tiffany Towncar online a few months ago for a stretch limo service round trip. i asked in the email for a reply about the cost, because they did not list the limo prices on the webpage. however, i never received a return email other than the automatic confirmation.

i called Tifffany today, as i was tired of waiting for them to email me. i had also asked for a grocery stop in the email. while on the phone today, i was dismayed to find out that Tiffany doesn't offer grocery stops with limos because they are "luxury vehicles". is there any other limo service (FL Tours, Happy) that you've arranged for a limo and had a grocery stop?

i'd just really like a chance to pick up some breakfast items (especially fruit) that i can't mail down.

Oooooohhh... that burns me up - we stopped using Tiffany b/c they change the rules on us. Then, they still sent the driver out (poor guy.) Quicksilver Tours will definately do that for you (http://www.quicksilver-tours.com/) and they have the longest stop available (Tiffany and HL will only stop for fifteen minutes - not long enough for me to get my bearings in a new store)

We used them in October and were very happy. Gregory is the owner and he should be able to help you out. I hope it works for you, that must have been frustrating.

Happy Limo has a grocery stop choice on every arrival entry. I just booked on-line with them to/from Sanford.

You may want to look at some past threads on Tiffany. Seems to me there were many mentions about them not returning calls and getting "orders" mixed up, late arrivals, etc.

Happy Limo has some real fans behind it. And the rate for a stretch limo was very reasonable to me. Round trip is quoted at $260 for my family of 4.
I know you can't always get it right, but I listen to what is being currently said about a transport company. What was good last year may not be as good today.......

We use Lorden Transportation and they offered us a grocery stop when we were in a 6 seater limo in Dec. They give great service.

I just booked our round-trip limo (for our family of 4 in June) about 2 hours ago. I called Absolute Limousine Service (877-857-5466) www.absolute-limo.com/main.htm

I chose them because:

- they specialize in limousines (no towncars or vans),
- all of their limos are 10 passenger (super-stretch),
- from all of the websites I've visited, they appear to be one of the less expensive limos ($180 round-trip to the Magic Kingdom resorts - no hidden tolls or gate fees),
- they offer grocery stops (note that a stop request must be made at time of booking and they charge an extra $20 for it - at least they're honest about that and tell you up-front),
- free assorted beverages and ice in the limo,
- TVs,
- Stereos,
- Moon roofs,
- Fiber-Optic lighting effects,
- you can see their different limos on-line and request the specific limo you want,
- most are newer (2003) limos,
- meet & greet service at the airport (with a sign that says anything you want -- "GRISWOLDS" [Vegas Vacation].....hehehe),
etc., etc., etc.

Unfortunately, when I asked a few days ago, no one on this board was able to give any reviews of this company. I just hope they're as good as they look because this is gunna be a surprise for my wife & kids (my wife has never ridden in a limo before). I'm going into it "blind". Maybe I'm just crazy!

The stretch limo is gorgeous, and he's more than happy to stop at a grocery store for you. Because you are dealing directly with the owner/operator, his prices are more competitive than those who have to add their commission on top.
