Limoncello @ Via Napoli

Please help me if you can. We just ate at Via Napoli for lunch and had an amazing meal! The Limoncello was so goooood! We have been trying to figure out what brand it is or if they make it. It was sooo good. I should have asked when I was there, but it didn't cross my mind. Does anyone know? TIA

There are a number of producers but it originates from the area around Naples and the bulk of it is still produced there. Check out the liqueur section of your local liquor store - they'll probably carry at least one brand.

The Limoncello's I have bought here have been pretty bad. Strong liquor taste. The one at VN had a smooth finish and a sweet beginning.

Ahhhh, it's supposed to be strong!
We make homemade from an old family recipe from our Almafi coast relatives, 180 proof everclear is the standard

Marcati has a lighter, sweeter finish than most lemoncellos.

e Limoncello's I have bought here have been pretty bad.

1) You Betchya.
2) DD#2 likes Limoncello.
3) She bought a bottle in Italy and we went to the "dock" to overlook the lake and drink it.
. . . yep, this was part of our "drink yourself around the World" attempt
4) GAG!
5) Everyone in our group (self, wife, DD#1, DD#2) HATED it.
6) The bottle served inside must be vastly different than the one available at the wine shop.
