Limo Question?

Hi All

I did ask this on the transportation thread - but so far no response. Maybe someone here can help me? We are staying at GF for the first time this September and thought we would surprise the kids with a limo from the airport to GF. (We'l just use magic express coming back) Anyway could anyone recommend a good company to use. Fair rate, reliable and clean car is important. It will be me, my husband, DS 14, DD 11, DD 9 and new DS 6 1/2 months!

It was my daughters birthday trip so she chose POP to stay in, the limo was my suprised for dh and DD. After seeing the ME bus to and from Pop when we stayed at AKL I knew I didnt want to ride it with all those people and all that mess.

They met us in baggage claim (just down the escalator) with my DDs name on the sign. They helped with out bags and walked us out the door right to our limo. Dd was so excited and dh thought I had booked us a taxi (I guess that is what car service means to him! LOL)

DD sat with Mickey and watched a movie the whole way, I think it was finding Nemo or the Incredibles. We made a grocery stop and arrived at Pop before the ME bus. It was a great way to travel and we will use them again here soon!

Just make sure if you choose to use a limo instead of ME that you bring booster seats for any kids who need them and put them in ff only postions in their boosters.

WE are using A1A Ocean Drive Transportation and Limo. WE are flying into orlando/sanford and late at that. I thought their price was reasonable. Also, they have strollers to rent CHEAP so we dont have to take our own and they provide boosters and car seats free if you need them.

We are using FLtours this winter for our airport to port transfer before our cruise out of Port Canaveral (RCCL). We are getting a van since there are 7 of us plus all our luggage but they do airport to WDW transfers too and have Limo's. I second what tanyaandallie said about making sure your kids have boosters and car seats and that they are in fwd facing vehicle seats. Hope you have a wonderful trip.

We used Mears for our Disney Wedding and go to to the Kissimmee courthouse. They were very nice, and I remember them being reasonable... or I wouldn't have used them! (I was the anti-Bridezilla)

Thank you for all of your suggestions. We decided to go with Happy Limo. They are recommended on mousesavers as well. The complimentary grocery stop was key to our decision as well. I was going to to use a shopping service to deliver formula, diapers and water, but now I can have the peace of mind of getting the stuff myself. 6 weeks to go!!

I know you will enjoy Happy Limo. The grocery stop was a plus when we had young kids. You can also make a list for the grocery store and they will have your items ready to be picked up when you get there, so all you have to do is run in and grab the items. Thank you - One more question: How should I go about finding out what store is in the area and also if they have the formula and diapers that we need?

We have used FLTours in the past; they will make a stop for you @ a grocery store etc- but if you know that your formula etc is sold @ Target or say walmart they will take you there.Hope that helps!

Since Happy only provides a 15 minute stop they stop at Publix because you can fax your order ahead and have it pulled and ready for you to pick up.
