We are planning to use Happy Limo for our transportation to and from the port for our 7 night cruise in March. We are traveling with another family and will be 8 people total. On the way to the ship we will be coming together (we are all staying the night before at the Holiday Inn at MCO), but on the way back we may need to split up because we have different return flights. I guess I have two questions - first, how does it work if 8 of us go together on the way there but it is 4 and 4 in separate cars on the way back? Will the pricing be different than just a regular round trip for 8 people? And second, we were considering going to Kennedy Space Center for the day when we got back because our flight isn't till Saturday evening. How would we get to the Space Center from the port? And then could we use Happy Limo to get from the Space Center to the airport? Has anyone done anything like this? I guess I would have these questions even if we wanted to go someplace like Downtown Disney on Saturday before our flight. I just don't really understand the logistics of how that will work using a limo service.

Thanks for any guidance! (sorry, I guess that was more than two questions :-))

We've used Happy Limo for some odd combinations of transfers (spending some time in Celebration and Downtown Disney), but never for a split group. We did travel with friends who stayed at a different hotel the night before the cruise, but it was close by so the same limo picked all of us up. I would send them an email explaining what you want to do, and they should be able to sort it out. I think their email is reservations@happylimo.com

Thanks Barb! When you did the strange combination of transfers, did you pay for each leg separately? Would we have to do a one-way to the port, then another one-way to Downtown Disney, then another one-way to the airport? That would probably get pretty expensive. Also, if we went to Kennedy Space Center, would we just take a taxi to get there from the port and then Happy Limo from there to the airport later?

Thanks,
Lisa

Lisa,

From the way I understand it Limo reservations are not like airline reservations. You do not get a better rate with a round trip reservation, at least not with Happy Limo. Each way is booked as a seperate trip. We used them last March and had a 3 way trip: MCO-WDW, WDW-DCL, & DCL to MCO. Each leg was booked as a seperate reservation.

In regards to your return trip, you may want to look at renting a car for the last day if you want to do some driving around. I do think it might get a little expensive to make multiple trips on the return leg. But, like Barb said the best thing is to email or call Happy Limo and explain the situation and see what they have to say.
