I ve got my heart set on using the Horse Landua Coach :lovestruc but have been told that i will need to use extra transport in order to get me to a resort near SBP.

We re gonna be using the Limo included in the package later in the day so dont want to use that in the morning.

Also we originally planned for my df to use the Model A Ford Car but im getting the feeling that we may not be able to use this either as we ll be staying at the Poly, i believe someone said it can only be used for short journeys:guilty: .

So we ve now decided for my df to arrive using a Limo & was wanting after it has dropped him off near SBP for it to then come back to pick me up & take me to the resort where i can then pick up the Horse Landua carriage.

Does anyone have any ideas how much hiring a limo for this short time would cost through Disney?? I went on the Fairytale wedding site but it does nt mention fees for limo. Im presuming we would be able to hire this through Disney :confused3

Other q is do you think it would be fine for the limo to take my df to SBP & then for it to come back to drop me off to the other resort??

I'll look over the emails my planner sent me as im sure she mentioned something about additional time in the limo.

Just a quick question though ... what are your plans for the 4 hours in the limo later on?? Just trying to see if I can help you come up with a way around things ;)

We re gonna use the inc Limo to pick us all up from SBP after reception (inc pics taken at SBP's beach) to take us to GF where im gonna hopefully have some pics taken on the beach there as well. We re going for lunch at GF Cafe. Then was hoping to have enough time left to have it pick us up after lunch to then take us back to Poly

How about the limo takes your DF to SBP and it then comes back for you and takes you over there. Then once your wedding ceremony / cake / dance / pics etc... are done it picks you all up and takes you over to the GF. You could then have your photos done and eat and maybe get the monorail back to the Poly?? That would definately be something for you to remember and you'd get lots of people congratulating you and seeing your stunning dress ;) And how many other people are going to be able to say that on their wedding day they travelled in a limo, a horse drawn carriage and a monorail !! :thumbsup2

Id probably have the limo take me over to the Yacht club (if thats poss) from Poly so as you ve mentioned that way id have a longer ride to the ceremony. Am thinking of then (yet again if poss) to then be taken back to Yacht club after ceremony in the carriage so my df can get the chance to ride in the carriage plus id love pics in it with him :cutie: . Then we could pick up the limo from there & go over to GF.

That sounds like a plan Jo, am just hoping that this is all actually possible though :goodvibes .

Will ask my df what he thinks about the monorail option. We may use the limo to take us back after lunch at gf, we are having dinner at Contemporary that night so we can always use the monorail then. We re hoping to end the night with a Wishes cruise. Then again thinking about it driving over to Contemporary maybe the better option as trying to get on the monorail after Wishes maybe an absolute nightmare especially with me in a big wedding dress.

Has anybody used the monrail whilst in your wedding dress??

I've seen photos of quite a few brides who have hopped on it in their dresses - Have a look through the albums on Randys site, there is definately at least two brides on there who I can remember seeing :surfweb:

Even if you wanted to add extra hours on to the limo I'm sure it wouldnt cost much. When we were at disney a couple of years ago I hired a limo through disney to take us to Old Town and then pick us up later that night and bring us back to the Beach Club Resort and I'm sure it was only around £70 or something like that. Ask some brides on here what the hourly rates are - Im sure people have added hours ;)

Hiya,

I remember reading that the limo was $84 per extra hour over and above the 4 hours included, and it was continuous hire ie the extra hour(s) needed to be added on to the 4. I know someone posted that they wanted to hire the limo for an hour later in the evening to take them to the Contemporary for a Wishes cruise but it wasn't possible and they had to hire it separately.

We're hoping to have the limo take our guests from the Boardwalk to GF for lunch and then back to the Boardwalk, stopping at POR for some photos. We think we can do that in 4 hours.

We are hiring a stretch Hummer for us! There will be 11 of us so Tim, me, my Mom and Dad will use the Hummer and the limo will be for the guests. We absolutely love Hummers, as does my Dad, so this will be such a treat for us three!!

we could use the modal a to go from coronado to the grand for our wedding as I looked into it, the only thing she said was that it had no windows for bad weather and no air con
