Limited Time Magic for next week?

I thought the new Disney promotion of Limited Time Magic meant that there would always be something going on, something special each week.

But today is the last day of the first week of the promotion (the New Year's Celebration) and I haven't seen anything announced for tomorrow/next week.

Anyone have any ideas of what they are planning to do, or are they just going to sporadically have these special events instead of every week?

I don't know but I was checking their blog about every hour yesterday to find out what next week will be.

I think some things may be a week long but some could be more or less. And it looks like Disney does NOT want anyone advance planning around these items, so very possibly they are not going to announce the new one until the existing one ends. The initial activities run through today so I bet we don't see an announcement until late today or early tomorrow.

My main concern is how you can find out about the new Limited Time Magic when you are already at the resort. We'll know about the one taking place when we arrive, of course, but if that ends during our stay and something else begins, how do we find out about it since we are deliberately NOT taking an Internet-enabled device with us?

I find it hard to believe that the LTM weeks aren't planned out well in advance by Disney. I'm surprised they don't give more notice on what the weeks will be. I understand that they aren't planning big events to encourage new reservations neccessarily but some of us are planners, really excessive planners

I'd like to know because what if there is some event that they do at 8:00 p.m. at MK for the week I am there and I want to do that event. I'd have to reschedule some ADRs to make that happen and I'd rather do that now then try to do it the week before I go. We're going to be there on January 29th so I'm still just hoping it's something neat!

One of the blog posts said to check back on Fridays but nothing new was posted this week, and the "exclusive" ear hats were apparently available well before the promo kicked off (something I was actually happy to read, because 'January exclusive' had me thinking I wouldn't be able to find the steampunk ears in April and I would like a pair).

ETA: My personal theory is that with all the combined "Disney Parks" branding, they don't actually mean to have something special going on on both coasts all year long. I don't think all the weekly "magic" will apply to both destinations. Some weeks there will be nothing for WDW, some weeks there will be nothing for DLR, and some weeks there will be themes that are applied at both.

I'm here now and didn't have time to enjoy the first LTM event. I heard the party going on in Tomorrowland and it looked like fun, but wanted to watch the fireworks instead. So we opted to skip it.

I'm anxiously waiting to find out what will be happening next week! I'll be here for another 2.5 weeks, and I just wanna know what the something limited will be!

I have a feeling Disney wont be able to keep up with this promotion. I'll just have to wait and see!
