Limited Edition Haunted Mansion Mickey Mouse

I had a question I got the Haunted Mickey Mouse http://twitpic.com/cmzlp on Sunday. Made a special trip to DL just for it. I only learned about it coming out off of Twitter. My question, does Disney ever announce a limited product run like this ahead of time? Or I just need to hear about something like this from word of mouth?

Thanks, they are numbered on the feet got number 25 out of 1500. Surprised I was able to find a low number since I bought him at the end of the day. I was just wondering about this being released because I have a PAP. And nothing was announced about it in the newsletters or eblasts I get from DL.

I was lucky that the first time I'm back at Disneyland since I was 2, I could pick something special like this up for my nephew. I don't know what number I got, but I saw it and it screamed for me to pick it up!

I picked him up on Main Street at the Emporium. Not to sure how popular they are but they seemed to have plenty left, of course this was Sunday night.

Mickey plush is $30, so price wise its not that bad.
