Limitations without Park Hopper

Hi,

We'll be spending 4 full days at DW in October plus day of arrival and day of departure. Our plan is to spend each day at a single park, so we need to plan accordingly (i.e. ADR for park we're visiting that day).

I know that Park Hopper lets you jump from park to park on any one day.
My question is...without the park hopper, can you visit the park, leave for a bit (e.g. to return to hotel for a swim, to have dinner at a non park place such as resort), and then return to the same park later? Or once you leave, you cannot return until you use another park day ticket?

If not, this makes a difference in planning dinners and breaks.

Yes, you can. But if the parks are full (they won't be when you are there) you risk getting back in. For example, around Christmas this could be an issue.

Great thanks. So we'd probably plan on leaving for dinner then, so if we couldn't get back in, at least it would be end of day.
PS - We'll be there in October so not prime busy season.

There is absolutely no way that you won't be able to get back in.

Awesome thanks....so may plan on going to MK in the morning and staying the day, head over to 1900 Park Fare for dinner, then back to MK for fireworks or electrical parade.
