We are going to Chef Mickey's for dinner. Several years ago we had our picture taken in front of a giant plate while waiting to be seated. I'm not even sure they still take pictures at Chef Mickeys but if they do....Can pictures taken at restaurants and/or shows outside of the parks be saved to our photopass card? Or is photopass only for pictures they take at the parks?

When we were at Chef Mickey's last April they still did the photo in front of gthe big plate and then they came around to your table with the photo package to see if you wanted to buy it - I don't remember the cost though - but our photo was great!!!

We were just at Chef Mickey on Jan 30, 2006.

They still take the picture in front of the plate. That package is offered to you while you are eating. You have to purchase it there or not at all.
They did not accept the Photopass card.

I'm disappointed! I guess I thought that since Disney has the technology to do one KTTW for your resort, theme parks, purchases AND your stateroom on the DCL -- I thought it would be a no brainer to allow for a simple picture at Chef Mickey's on your photopass card! :)

I bet they'll integrate it more in the future as it becomes popular. Or, maybe they'll start using the KTTW card as your photopass card -- and then after that, they'll allow the photopass concept to extend to photos taken at both the World & the cruise! WOW! I think I'm really onto something! Of course, I'm sure they already thought about all that -- they're such imagineers!
