I finally went to Home Depot, and got my lime green paint chips. Now, what do I do with them? I thought I might cut out Mickey, put a lime green ribbon through him, and just tie him to my back pack. Any other ideas?

Someone on another post had a good idea by using them as luggage tags. I took that person's advice.

My biggest tip, don't make them, then forget to take them.;) I was about fifteen minutes from home when I realized I had forgotten them. I'll just have to remember to take them in May now....
But, I used one to make a badge that I could wear, and I used two more to make a reversible tag to tie to my backpack. Have fun!

I was able to peel rather then cut them off the card. I lamintated mine and Im going to hang them on my sons stroller. It serves a few purposes-says Im a Diser and it will help id it in a sea of strollers!

PamPam,

I cut out the shape of the mickey, put my screen name on it and laminated it. Then I used a hole punch and fastened one to my hat, the other through my laniard(spelling?).

Here it is!! Thanks to my 15 year old DD.

Hello ~

I also take a Mickey icon (lime green of course....) and stick it on the window/door of my resort room. And a few times I've actually had a Post-It note left on my door from other DIS'rs and it was cool! It made me smile!

I also have one on my purse and sometimes double taped to my short pocket.

I recently went to my daily Wal-Mart fix and found some cute Lime Green ribbion so i got enought to make two, One for my hair to tie around a pony tail or something and one for what ever I can think of. I stitches the letters D I S down it so no one will have to wonder. I am going to wear it on my Honeymoon, or should I say Disneymoon March27- April 1 of this year and yes I know its spring break, so yall can send me some of that magic Pixie dust if you wish. But I know itll be magical becasue ill be with my one true love!!!!!!!!

I read something before about how to get the green mickey off of the white backing, but I forget how to do it. Any suggestions. Was it like putting water on it or something?

If you are going to wear them, may I suggest that you make two. Wear one on the front of you and one on the back. I wear lime green ribbons on every trip, and have several curly strands tied to the Mickey head (I wrote DIS on the middle). I wear one as a pin on the front of my shirt and tie another one to the belt on the back of my waist pouch. The one on the back has been spotted by DISers more often - each time as we were queing in a line.

Wait, Mickey Mouse is MY one true love!

Oh, you meant your future hubby. Sorry.

I read where some people pop the paint chip in the microwave for a few seconds and then it peels right off.

Everyone else - I took 3 of different colors (mine is green of course!), scanned them, blew them up 300%, sent them to my Word program and wrote our names on them in Disney font. I copied them onto magnetic paper, available at Wal-Mart, cut them out, and will hang them on our metal stateroom doors of the Wonder. It's really easy to do if you have access to a scanner.

I'd like to try doing something like this...
If you don't mind me asking -
Doesn't the magnetic paper do something awful to the printer???
Can you take this sign or card that's made in your luggage without the airport alarms going off?
How can I find the Disney font to use on my computer?
please forgive me if you think these are stupid questions....
You all sound so creative.......I'm jealous!!!!
Thanks, Barb from Texas

Your questions are not stupid. How do you think we learned? ;) I've used magnetic paper in my computer for several years without any problems. Just feed it thru a sheet at a time.

If I knew how to post a picture, I'd show you how mine look! If anyone wants to tell me how, I'll post it!

Thanks Daisy'sMom and MommaluvsDis..................boy am I really red faced now!!
I can't even figure out how to pm you....the instructions say to look for a pm box....but I can't find that either......I love everyone's little dancing figures, and timers and such...but again......computer illiterate!!!!!! ha ha ha it's a good thing I don't have to depend on my computer skills to pay for my trips to Disney!!!! Barb

Okay, I'm going to try and post the picture of my Mickey's heads. Let's see if Caskbill and teach and old dog new tricks!

(Took photo out until I can resize it. I'll try again in a minute.)
