Lime Green Mickeys??

Here my LGMH. I'm going to laminated and tag several items.

I'm also going to get different color MH and put them together to make a garland and hang in our resort window.

I may have to stop into Home Depot and see if I can find these. This is our first trip to the World and it would be neat to meet a fellow Diser.

I put one on my bag last year and decorated our room window with them, but didn't meet anyone...

We'll be there next week (less than a week to go -- I think I'm going to faint!), so I'll watch for yours if you watch for mine...

On a side note, a friend of mine was interviewing to manage the paint department at the HD a few months ago. I asked him to snag me a big chunk of Lime Green Mickey Heads. He slooooowllllly backed away and then broke into a run! What? Are we weird?????

I don't know how many of you are scrapbookers, but if you are and you have a Cricut machine, you can use the Mickey cartridge and cut a bunch out! That is what I am planning on doing. Then we will attach them to EVERYTHING!

Where do you get the laminating luggage tags? Staples?

I used the laminating pages I purchased at Staples and was not happy with the way they turned out. I had peeled mine off of the backing and glued them back-to-back. The laminating material did not stick together close to th LGMHs, but left around a 3/8" spot around it where it didn't stick. Not happy. Maybe I'll have to find another way to get them laminated somewhere so I won't have this happen again.

BTW - I printed out our names, resort, vacation dates & cell #'s on mini lables and put them on one side of the LGMHs. That way, in case something gets lost, hopefully it would get returned to us.

One cheap and easy way to laminate is to use clear shelf paper - you can get it by the roll at Walmart and have plenty for your next trip, and the trip after that, and the trip after that.... It worked great for me. I'm not crafty at all and couldn't find luggage tags, but the shelf paper did the trick.
