How do you attach your lime green Mickey to your bag? How do you present yours when you go into the park? Do you cut out the lime green Mickey on the card, or do you just attach the whole card to your bag? Do you laminate it then hole punch it? I am not sure what to do with mine.

I cut mine out and laminated two back to back. I put my name on one side and a Dis logo on the other side. I am either going to attach it to my bag or wear it on my lanyard. I usually get tired of a lanyard by the end of the first day. DBF is afraid of carrying around the bag with a Mommywithdreams lime green mickey attached! ha ha

We also cut them out and laminated them. I used a zip tie to attach it to my bag. It finally fell off just resently after being on there for 2 years. Here is a picture:

I laminate and hole punch, then I use a green ribbon (with brown dots) to tie it to my bag. :) I didn't use it last trip because the laminate is coming apart, I'm going to fix it before our next trip. :)

I laminated mine and then just took some string and attached it to my backpack. I never EVER saw another one while I was there... it made me sad!

I just glued (or rather double-sided scrapbook-taped it) two together, made a hole somehow, and used a luggage tag doohickey to attach it to the strap.

Mine's cut out and laminated and I attached a pin back to it. It's pinned to my backpack.

pretty much the same here...2 cut out, glued back to back, laminated, used a small hole punch, and used a key ring ot attach to my fannie pack. on my backpack, i have 3 LGMHs (made the same way), but attached with ribbon of different lengths so that each one hangs at a different level.

that's a good idea of writing/printing your screen name on the LGMH!

Thanks guys! Thats definitely helpful. I will cut mine out and laminate it, then tie it to my backpack. I dont wear lanyards so its pointless for me. But I will put it on my day pack for sure. I promise if I see any of your lime green Mickey's I will say hello.

I plan on laminating one with a self-seal pouch, and tagging it to my bag. Then laminating another and pinning it to my shirt in some way.

Ok still too new to know what you guys are talking about. What lime green Mickeys? lol

Lime green mickey heads (LGMH) are the universal symbol for DISers to identify each other in the parks. Since there are so many of us forumers, people wanted to find a way to meet each other at DLR and WDW. It was chosen a few years back to use lime green as the DIS colcor. At the time, Home Depot came out with Disney paint swatches for Disney-themed decorating in the shape of Mickey heads. So we decided to use those (some people also make their own, but the paint swatches are free). DISers will write their Dis name on the LGMH, usually laminate it, and tag it on their bag or some other way to be visible.

Ohhhh - don't cut them out!! Just run them under water and the mickey heads come right off of the backing! I used the self-laminating business card sized thingies and wrote my screen name on the heads and then laminated it. Super easy and really fun. DH doesn't seem to mind carrying the LGMH attached to the camera bag - even though it says "Brady's Mom"!

You don't even need to run them under water. They peel off okay.

Here's what mine looks like.
